A Turkish/Turkic version of the European Union is ideal and my political dream.

Now that you said it, a question. What is keeping Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan from officially joining CCTS? They are already members of Türksoy. I agree that strengthening the Turkic council would be a pretty terrific opportunity for everyone involved to pit their resources together and work diligently for a better future of all Turkic countries.

Personally I think not every country-to-country relations we have as it appears in the media. Some relations are stronger than others despite what the media states.

Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgzistan are all countries with impressive mineral resources (Oil, Gas, Gold, Coal...) and the most important geostrategic positions... we have everything.

If we work together there is nothing we can't achieve.

if they all work Together, they can even ask CHina to make the "ipek Yolu" through these countries. It also works for CHina as its the shortest road... can you imagine that we are in the middle, trade from east to west, from North to south should go through us...
Turkey should really invest in these countries. But, the first thing Turkey should do it change the government in Azerbaijan...

Just Turkey uniting with Azerbaijan would change a lot in the region, the resources from Azerbaijan, connection to Central Asia markets and the technology, state tradition and military power of Turkey would make it a truly self sufficient country, we should at least look to create a land route with our Azeri Turk brothers. This will most probably anger Russia and Iran as we are in close contest for the region. This is a dream for now but you never know, borders change all the time. I can only see this happening if Turkey is strengthened and Russia is weakened.

Those who say this is impossible dont forget both countries statesmen have been discussing and dreaming of this since the formation of both countries.

For the time being a small Turkic union, same currency, similar laws between Turkey, Azerbaijan and TRNC will do us great favours. Our relations should be strong as Germany and Austria are.

Pakistan is on the list but Pakistan has little to no relevance in the Turkish geography, Balkans, Caucasus, North of Middle East etc. Pakistan ties are both warmly, historic and strategic but the most common factor is we have a common potential threat, Iran in between us.

Qatar relations I think will build up in the future unless something goes dramatically wrong like pro Saudi regime change, as Turkey builds its influence in the region you should expect to see more and more military bases pop up in countries who can trade strategic assets for military protection.

We should not forget our relations with Georgia as well, not an ally as such however if pushed too far by Russia they will lean in Turkey, vice versa.

At least we were accepted to economic and custom union where Turkish prıducts are sold like domestics. Thanks to EU Turkish export survives.
