Rapid Response Force (RRF) is a force, of highly motivated and trained police officers and jawans, which is responsible to immediately respond to situations like terrorist attack, hostage situation and major police encounter. All the officers / jawans of the unit have undergone Elite training and are highly skilled in the use of all types of heavy weapons. RRF has all the necessary equipment, appropriate firepower and fast means of mobility to respond to any situation in appropriate manner and in the shortest possible time. The unit has recently been equipped with the most sophisticated APCs.
