Rangers refuse to accept sweets from Indians

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) offered sweets to Pakistan Rangers on Monday to mark their country’s Republic Day but the latter refused to accept them, sources said.


The refusal to accept the sweets is aimed at making it clear that Pakistan Rangers are unhappy with the indiscriminate firing and shelling the BSF has been resorting to along the border, according to the sources.


The firing and shelling have left a number of people dead.


This is the first time that sweets offered by the BSF have been refused.
