KARACHI: In the unabated violence across the metropolis, seven persons including two Rangers men have been targeted and killed since early Thursday morning, Geo News reported.

According to sources, two bodies bearing torture marks were found from Mewa Shah Colony area of Pak Colony. The victims were identified as Rangers personnel who were abducted from Lyari on Wednesday. Both the personnel belonged to Field Security Wing and were on intelligence duty. They were subjected to torture before being shot dead, sources added.

Meanwhile, unknown gunmen ambushed a passenger bus in Baldia Town area that killed one person. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Two persons lost their lives when unidentified assailants opened firing in Pak Colony and Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

The man killed in Bhitaiabad area of Gulistan-e-Jauhar was identified as Mehram Chand who was a policeman.

They were working under cover so wont rule out local armed groups. TTP is not the only one LEJ is also very active as Ahlesunat waljamat got a very strong hold in some areas.

^^^ karachi is facing gang war and infighting not terrorism. SL army succeeded because LTTE was more like conventional army, capturing and retaining an area. No such entity in karachi.

Considering ur vry litlle knowledge,about karachi its been 30 long years of different kind of voillence?
There were killings of every kind ,even MqM,s own shia MPAs were killed too?
It is happening on daily basses, peoples are fed up MQM is their voice, which couldn't reach anything good for them in past 5 years? Yes this shutdown was done by them to at least show the peoples of karachi that still it can hurt the stupid activities of the president & PM of pakistan?
Bilor was a brave man himself,ANP is under threat & wanted to remain silent on his murder just to make things cool down to hve another term in power from the comming elections?
