Adding to that - the Rangers/FC are not a long term substitute for reforms in local police, whether in Sindh, Punjab, FATA or Balochistan.I'd like to remind here that operations in Punjab were already taking place. The province has a larger Police force than many countries have Armies. The method of operation in Punjab is Intel Borne Ops carried out by Police units with embedded intel personal. If Rangers have been given a free hand as reported, we can soon see a wash down of terrorist cells throughout the province.
Rangers fall under the Ministry of interior and are considered a 'Civilian paramilitary force'. The officer corps is seconded from the Army (the same applies in the case of the Frontier Corps in Balochistan and FATA).One question: who are the chief of the Rangers? Who are giving them orders?
No such operation as being done in Karachi will take place in Punjab at maximum it would be done against the robbers based in Southern Punjab. As for LEJ they are already finished few of them left for them Police is more than enough. As for what other organisations are their I don't think their are any other
Really please point out the mess ?You are wrong, there is enough mess to clean in Punjab !
Operation in FATA/Pehawer/Karachi/Balouchistan all under operation and only place left as safe heaven for all type of terrorists is Punjab which already GADH of extreme religious nuts.Really please point out the mess ?
Beginning of bad time for TTP monsters and allies in punjab government. I doubt they will give free hand to rangers in Punjab. A big question mark is the link between sitting ministries of punjab government with SSP and likes of TTP. I guess there are chances of linkage between black economy and terrorism in punjab as well.
I am trying to figure out what is the future road map to continue NAP as sooner or later PMLN will be standing on opposite side of the table with PPPP and MQM.
So we need to move on from thank you raheel shareef to Move on Pakistan.
In this scenario Raheel Sharif is the right person............Nation is expecting something from him in the intrest of the country not in the intrest of his legacy.
Technocratic government under leadership of Raheel Sharief should clean this mess once for all.
