Rafales are 'overhyped', Rafale is no 'game-changer' - Former indian airforce Air Vice Marshal

Indian legs have not stopped shaking even after having 200+ su30s, m2k, 5 rafales...... Hence assumption that RAFALE is over-hyped seams true.

Rafale not enough? Pak, China have more ‘force multipliers’ than IAF, says report
The limited number of Rafales ordered is "a bow to fiscal realities”

Thats true, indians just happy to use Indus.
I think you were very weak student of geography. You don't even know about rivers flowing in India, your homeland. River Indus passes thru Kashmir and Pakistan. And Kashmir is integral part of Pakistan. You cannot clean your dirt in Indus.

You have other big rivers and lakes Ganga is most sacred for you. Use it for cleaning your shit.

Oh just for cleaning yourself, you must be walk such a long distance.

Its my advice that you improve your knowledge before writing comments in this forum.

Technical merits aside, India’s order for only 36 Rafale jets was clearly a bow to fiscal realities.

The fleet will not fix India’s comparatively diminished air capabilities. Against a government-approved strength of 42 fighter squadrons, the Indian Air Force currently operates only 31. By 2024, the force will shed the last of its MiG-21 squadrons and add only two or three replacement squadrons over the same period, taking the Air Force down to 30 squadrons as it approaches the quarter mark of this century. Yet the length of India’s restive borders has not changed, nor has the scale of the military challenge posed by Pakistan and China. No matter how advanced the Rafale or how effective its long-range weaponry, the addition of 36 jets will not dramatically alter the balance of power in the region.

Well thanks to their uncontrolled coronavirus and tensions with China, along with a host of other domestic problems, the Indians will face even more fiscal constraints for the years to come. More likely than not, we are not going to see any significant arms purchases anytime soon. Meanwhile, the Chinese and Pakistani militaries will continue to increase in capability, applying even more pressure to India's already stretched thin forces. I reckon the Block III's introduction will cause major headaches for the IAF, as much as they won't admit it. A token white elephant Rafale force which the Block III can compete with is not going to bode well in any aerial conflict.

Just publishing maps on paper does not make it integral part of your country.
You have to gather some courage, and fight with Indian army to snatch it first and then make kashmir a integral part of pakistan.
Talk is cheap.

To all Indian jumping up and down about low RCS should know that is for unloaded Rafales. Once you put on missiles and external fuel pods any 4th gen aircrafts lights up with RCS of 3-5. So in short you might as well shove that low RCS design in gutter considering it has no internal weapons carriage.

Anyone who thinks the Rafale is a stealth fighter should not even be in a military forum.

I dont know why there is so much hype being made. Man, a good dose of peri-peri - these hyperventilating indian media can spin it into god's medicine.

just standing on the side waiting for the first bird to be taken down by a bird strike.

But Peri-Peri is God's medicine!

You are right though, I was watching the current saga unfolding in india with one of their actresses on an Indian news channel, and the reporting and media standards in India are seriously lacking.
They can spin anything, but the most scary part is that a majority of Indians buy into the narrative.

Just dare send your Rafale inside Pakistani airspace, or dare to wake the sleeping dragon-China, your army will be attacked from both fronts, then we will see how your incompetent, demoralized, and impoverished soldiers run towards Dehli.

I heard you already trying to dare.

A country full of Insane, rapist and corrupt idiots who even rape their own grandmothers, you better don't challenge us, if Chinese and Pakistanis got berserk than hell will be unleashed upon you and your so called hindutva will be wiped out from the face of the world.

Just dare send your Rafale inside Pakistani airspace,

I told you if you want kashmir to be integral part of pakistan, then as a country you should grow some marbles, and fight a war with india and snatch it, and only then you can call it your integral part.
And you want india to send rafales first ?
That means you are going to do nothing, that is some low level bravado you are showing here.
