Rabindranath wrote Srilankas national anthem

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that rabindranath wrote srilankas national anthem in bengali on request of ananda samarakoon who visited tagore in 1941.After coming back to sri lanka he translated it into sinhalese...it still has so many sanskrit words..an indian can easily umderstand 75 percent of the song wothout any translation...isnt it amazing that one person wrote national anthem of 3 countries and all three were adopted as anthems after his death.
P.S:some people disagree that rabindranath wrote sri lankas anthem..they say he jist inspired samarakoon.

The Wiki page says there is are different accounts on the origin and the degree to which Rabindranath influenced it. But still, this is quite interesting.
