The quadripartite meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Iran, Russia, China and Pakistan on the developments in Afghanistan

The foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, China and Pakistan met today on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Tajikistan to discuss developments in Afghanistan.
At the meeting, the foreign ministers of the four countries supported the formation of a comprehensive government with the participation of all ethnic groups in Afghanistan.

Afghanistan free of terrorism, free of drugs and free of threats against its neighbors were other topics on the agenda.

The meeting welcomed the holding of the next round of the Afghanistan Neighbors Summit, which is scheduled to be held in Tehran in late October with the participation of the foreign ministers of neighboring countries, plus Russia.
