Qadri going to US for medical treatment

Recent events have shown that the Army leadership is just as involved as ever in politics, all illegally, and all to the detriment of the country. Until and unless this changes, Pakistan will remained condemned to repeat its past and lose its future.
@Dalit
Kayani had sent only one name to PM for isi head replacement. Pretty sure he was very interested in holding power.

Raheel did send multiple names. I hold this dude high, because he has had and still, a much better chance than Kayani, to take over country.

If we are to believe the Americans/Indians you mean? No, that's just not true. The army has indeed distanced itself from politics. This is clearly evident when Pakistan is in a serious political turmoil. Yet, the army refuses to step in.

Also, let's not confuse Pakistan's downward spiral with the role of the Pak army. Both have nothing in common. The reason why Pakistan is unable to prosper as a state is simply due to wicked feudal politics. Pakistani politics has been hijacked by a bunch of feudal hierarchies which are hell bent on destroying this nation. The unending greed and corruption is beyond comprehension. The army cannot be held responsible for an ailing economy. The Pakistani army cannot be held responsible for ghost schools. The Pakistani army cannot be held responsible for political turmoil. The Pakistani army cannot be held responsible for job insecurity. The Pakistani army cannot be held responsible for the grievances of the common man. Only the government can be held responsible for this turmoil.

Well said. Keep it up.

Yes indeed, but Qadri apparently doesn't have any occupation.

Occupation? The man has a massive organization set-up around the entire globe! His organization includes hundreds and thousands of worldwide members. His members donate massive amounts of money for the organizations cause. Do some research. You're only right about one thing. Qadri has no shortage of cash.

Considering you are in Canada, you should know very well that the state provides for the medical treatment of a resident of the state. So it is an odd question to ask nonetheless as to why a permanent resident of the state would prefer to pay for treatment in Pakistan when free treatment would be available in a better medical system in general.

I don't blame TUQ for going back to Canada for treatment, at least he will get a good treatment, Its a sorry state of affairs in Pakistan, This is one of the reasons why I'm very critical of Royal Noora government it hasn't built a single high quality international standard hospital that we can all be proud of.

Who says that Zardari and NS are Canadians? Yet, they prefer to go abroad for major and minor treatments. Their children and relatives study abroad. Doesn't this ring any bells?

By your own admission, Qadri at least is a Canadian citizen. Therefore, his medical treatment in Canada can be understood to a certain degree.

Sir, the present political turmoil was created by the Army to undermine the present government so that it may not use its overwhelming majority to control foreign and defense policies in the first place, so using it as an example does not work at all.

Also, Pakistan's downward spiral has everything to do with the Army being above the law, undermining due processes, and usurping power and resources illegally to the detriment of the rest of the country, laying the roots for all that you say is not the Army's fault.

That's what I would be saying too had I been a Nawaz Sharif supporter. Just blame the army or any other enemy for convenience sake. It's always easy to find a scapegoat. Although, this is just not true. Especially in the current scenario.

I've already explained in quite detail that the army can be blamed for quite few things. The army should never have interfered in Pakistani politics like it did in the past. That was their mistake.

However, you cannot possibly lay the entire blame at the doorstep of the Pak army regarding the current turmoil. It's a given that Pakistani political parties are incompetent. They don't have a clue how to run the affairs of a state. The current state of the economy is enough indication.

the problem in gov hospital is mainly because of patient to doctor ratio.
most of the doctors just go abroad....

The basic reason politics as a whole is incompetent in Pakistan is because the Army has never let it take proper root by periodically destroying the process back to square one every time its illegal hegemony was threatened.

Ideally speaking canada has better facilities than india and pakistan so qadri has made a right choice that anyone who has an option will make but

The way he was protesting for injustice and naya pakistan based on equality, fairness etc ,,,it just looks very selfish and immoral.Practice what u preach.
