Captured Russian T-72 tank under Ukrainian flag - Міністерство оборони України

Monday, February 9, DONBAS — Servicemen of the 2nd Artillery Battery, 128th Mechanized Brigade, captured the Russian T-72 main battle tank which the terrorists had used in their attacks against the Ukrainian troops positions for a week.

It was impossible to destroy it — the enemy’s tank appeared suddenly, made one or two shots and disappeared.

At night, 6 artillerists slipped to the enemy’s positions. The tank was near a small building. They decided to capture it.

The artillerists returned to their positions and raised the Ukrainian flag on the captured tank. They found the Russian documents and MREs of the Russian Army inside the captured tank.

Now, the Ukrainian servicemen use the tank as a tractor because there is no gunner among them.

Ukrainian heroes: Andriy Kalinichenko, Serhiy Khoroshkovsky, Volodymyr Voznyuk, Roman Smygorodsky, Serhiy Kosakivsky, Serhiy Ivanovych.

Russia wants proof of its military presence in Ukraine : UNIAN news

Chairman of Russia’s Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev says that Russia asks Ukraine to demonstrate proof of Russian military presence in Ukraine.

He announced this at the Brussels Forum, an UNIAN special correspondent reported.

"You would remember how Mr. [Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko presented five or six passports, Russian passports, for the audience. The same day, the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs sent an official request to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine: Please, give us any details, names, numbers, copies, anything. Until now, there is no answer. So everybody believes that that was evidence, but that was not evidence," he said.

"Same goes for very many other reports delivered by Mr. [Gen. Philip] Breedlove [who is Commander of the Supreme Allied Command Europe and U.S. European Combatant Command] or other Americans who are very much in favor of proving that Russia is involved. Russia is not involved with regular forces in southeastern Ukraine," he said.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, who was also attending the Brussels Forum, said in turn that it is impossible to have "win-wins without trust."

"We all want win-wins, that's what we've devoted our professional lives to, that's what we need for our populations, but without trust you can't do it and you're not going to have trust if you don’t have truth. So when you have a country denying that it has troops in another country's territory, there's no trust," she said.

Like I said, if Ukraine can prove Russia sent regular soldiers to Ukraine, then Putin will drink his own pee. If not, then I say shove the trash talk. :agree:

Likewise, proving Riemann's hypothesis isn't going to be done by words, it has to be done by concrete proof. Can anyone prove Russia sent regular soldiers to Ukraine? I don't think so.

If Russia army is in Ukraine, millions of Ukrainian soldiers would be dead by now, not a thousand or so.

Families of Russian soldiers killed in Donbas ‘got RUB 3 mln for silence’ : UNIAN news

30.03.2015 | 16:04
The families of Russian soldiers killed in the Donbas were promised RUR 3 million if they signed a nondisclosure agreement, Ukrainian political weekly magazine Novoe Vremya reported on Monday, referring to Russian opposition leader Ilya Yashin.

Yashin is working to reconstruct a report by murdered Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov on Russia’s covert war against Ukraine.

"At the end of January the relatives of dead soldiers informally asked Nemtsov to put pressure on the Ministry of Defense to help them get the payments," he said.

Russian police seized Nemtsov’s computer in a raid on his apartment shortly after he was gunned down in front of the Kremlin walls in Moscow on February 27. However, his associates later said that enough copies of information he had been collecting on the deaths of Russian soldiers in Ukraine remained for them to be able to reconstruct a report the opposition figure was said to be working on when he was killed.

According to Yashin, large numbers of Russian soldiers were killed in the east of Ukraine in two periods of time.

"The first wave of coffins went to Russia last summer, when the Ukrainian army went on the offensive and liberated one after the other the towns of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The offensive was halted after the direct intervention of the Russian army," Yashin said.

"When it became impossible to hide the presence of the Russian military in the conflict zone, the Russian Defense Ministry invented a story that they went to fight during their legal vacation," Yashin said.

According to Yashin, this information could not be hidden and journalists managed to shed light on the situation.

"However, many people were surprised that an independent investigation was opposed not only by the authorities, but also by the families of the dead soldiers. According to Nemtsov’s sources, this fact can be explained that the relatives received RUB 3 million as compensation. At the same time, they signed a nondisclosure agreement under threat of criminal prosecution," he said.

"The second big wave of coffins went to Russia in January and early February 2015, during the conflict in Debaltseve,” Yashin said.

"But this time the relatives did not receive any compensation, as now before going to the Donbas the soldiers did not ‘go on vacation’, as before, but were ‘dismissed from service,’" Yashin said.

"In practice, the relatives have not received any compensation this time. Commanders shrugged and referred to the authorities. The relatives couldn’t officially seek compensation, because the dead soldiers weren’t formally Russian servicemen," he said.

As reported earlier, Yashin said that the report of Nemtsov about Russia's role in the conflict in Ukraine, over which the politician was working before his murder, would be published by mid-April.

Reports of Russian soldiers on leave fighting in east Ukraine come from their families and from the militants themselves

A report being prepared by supporters of slain opposition leader Boris Nemtsov claims that Moscow has started discharging its soldiers from the army before sending them to Ukraine and then denying compensation to the families of men who were killed in order to cover up Russia's involvement in the conflict.

The report, which Nemtsov was working on before he was shot and killed in Moscow on Feb. 27, will be completed and published next month by his allies, the politician's friend and associate Ilya Yashin wrote on his Facebook page Monday.

"We have managed to communicate with people who were Nemtsov's sources," Yashin said. "They were very much afraid to speak while he was alive. The murder of Boris, as you understand, did not give them new courage, so they were reluctant to get in contact."

Go ahead. Show proof. You have no idea what REAL Russian soldiers can do to Ukrainian soldiers.

. .
You mean, when they're not drunk or not actually conscripts ?

In Western countries, show proof or your claim is rubbish.

You have no idea how devastating Russian air power and cruise missiles are. :yes2:Ukrainian ground troops won't even be able to move, communicate, seek refuge.

It's Ukraine.. Russia better be overwhelming, lmao.

Look at Serbia, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen. That's what would happen to Ukraine if Russian air power and cruise missiles unleash on Ukraine. :yes2: Ukraine won't have a chance. Not even a CHANCE. Ukraine knows this. That's why Ukraine doesn't dare to invade Crimea which was annexed by Russia.
