Every year things like this are heared but nothing happens.

Kh. Fareed jniversity RYKhan is still orchards and agricultural land.
Even the boundry wall is not completed.
They did construct a stretch of about 3 to 4 hundred meters of road and no other work had been done.

For Poor people of South Punjab no need of metro like projects they need More, colleges & universities, better health facilities clean water, electricity and improved roads especially for small towns badly damaged by 2010 historic flood and still no re develop until now.

This is all BS, every year there are budget allocations but nothing happens. What you need to do is compare the funds allocated percentage wise this years to the ones allocated last year. Then see what DEVELOPMENT work have been done in the last year and you can have a better idea of what it will be like in this year. South Punjab is neglected badly, the agriculture is suffering, the law and order situation is in chaos. The current gov need to take some practical steps to improve situation on South Punjab rather there allocating budgets only.

Have you been there? have any relatives there? anyone that can give you the ground facts? I have!!
So instead of your blind support of PMLN, wake up and start observing and following things neutrally. PTI or PMLN, it is not your or my concern, unless they pay you or me for there support, if they don't, Pakistan is what we debate and fight for so if something is wrong or lacking i expect you to realize that and voice your concern no matter which Gov. is responsible for it.

I usually go to Multan where my in laws are and Multan has been changed significantly. I think you need to visit there as well to get a first hand experience. And yes do visit some cities in KPK and Sindh to feel the difference of change in Punjab...

I visit all these places regularly for business. If by change you are referring to roads and bridges, i will stop it here and wont argue anymore. If you are talking about structural reforms, we can debate all day. About Multan, it was developed A LITTLE in time of Mr. Yousaf Raza sb, i was there two weeks ago and it is still the same. If you think that gov will start running a metro there and then it will be a certified MODERN and PROGRESSIVE city, again, i am sorry but i cannot debate anymore on this issue.

My advice, in fact request to you, get out of that political allegiance shell, It must be Pakistan that matter to you so set your political differences aside and you will see the details for yourself, you will see where we are going with all this miss management, POOR priority setting, twisting of facts and statistics to make fool of the nation and lots more.

poorest part of pakistan sadly nothing done in last 2 decades

Gilani only built an overhead which took him straight from his mohallah to Multan bypass. Please let me know anything other than that if you know.

Check again brother, i mentioned A LITTLE!! Also i TOTALLY AGREE that the PPP gov was not match at all for this current PMLN gov, the PMLS have always been way better then PPP so if we want to compare these two PMLN wins hands down. The actual problem is we have been following " Andhon mein kana raja" for almost three decades and by the looks of it, the country cannot tolerate this anymore, look where we stand today compare the status with our surroundings, with countries who have same problems like us but compare the progress being made.

Furthermore, you need to look at health, law and order, education, business opportunities, industrial base, employment opportunities and all these basic DEVELOPMENT works in the South Punjab, cities like muzafar gardh, dg khan, Rajanpur, Rahim yar khan Sadiqabad etc your will notice where the problem is. Remember it is these areas now that are being reported as a new hub for TTP and other terrorist organization and serve as a nursery for these terrorists outfits. Reason, for me, lack of any serious development effort. NOt a bridge or an underpass but structural reform, things mentioned above in this post.

Thats the whole point, you can't have an idealistic solution all the time, the constraints always require an optimal solution, not an ideal one.

Yes bro, that is the whole point but the very next sentence of my post is the WHOLE problem.... :)

It is because our progress has been of different nature
1-Those countries don't suffer from chronic energy deficit like we do. If the gap is plugged, Pakistan can easily top the growth rate up by 1.5-2% YoY.
2-The terrorism which is at least fiscally costing us about 200-300 Billion PKR (excluding the damages to economy and increased costs of security)
Srilankans just faced the second one and it wreck havoc on their economy for decades.
The "Andhon ma kana raja" theory still holds as the economy is picking herself back. The changing perception about the economic outlook and improving sentiments were the major driver in sharif's regaining their grip back and PTI losing badly out of KPK. because masses see little value in the narrative of Imran amid improving economy. Had these elections been there with economy on the standstill, the results would have been exactly opposite.
The public goods like health and water etc are a complete wastage in province like Punjab where people take it for granted...Like I always argue with my friends, if you want to make Punjabis realize the preciousness of water and health, just send them to Karachi for a couple of months. The optimal health solution is to privatize the health sector but if that happens then the healthcare costs would shoot out of roof like those in US and advance countries....In public health you can't have equality with private healthcare because of actual costs of healthcare being mammoth when compared with public health.
