Completed or, under construction..?

Looks terrific ...

713,000 acres is approximately 1% of the total agricultural irrigated land of Pakistan.

Fantastic. We need to develop our biggest Province and use the land to grow stuff. I am also in favour of moving large number of citizens into Balochistan to populate the largest Province of Pakistan. A Province that has nearly 45% of land mass of the Nation and less than 5% Population. Give Baloch people the first right to set up farms and the rest can go to the migrants.

Let us figure out how to divert most of the flood Waters to this canal for Agricultural use in Balochistan.

Dont look at it this way. Think about all the people who would benefit from the irrigated land, the jobs it will create, the food it will provide and above all, the confidence it will give to our baloch brothers who have always felt left out.

We get around 30 x 40 KG wheat yearly from one acre. Even worst agriculture land gives around 20 x 40 KG wheat yearly, which is enough wheat to run a family for one year. Now if 713,000 families are getting extra food from only one extra Canal, I think it's not a bad bid to talk about.
