KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has decided to form an alliance in the local government elections and announced to put combined effort to free Karachi from terrorism, ARY News reported.

PTI’s delegation presided by provincial president of the party, Nadir Akmal Lagari met leaders of JI including Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehmen at Idara Noor Haq in Karachi on Thursday.

While addressing a joint press conference after the meeting, leaders of both parties said that consensus between the two parties will widely be extended.

They have demanded Supreme Court (SC) to take notice fake voter lists and publishing of ballot papers by private printing presses.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehmen said that local body elections would be conducted earliest but not in a hasty manner.

if both of PTI & JI could hve brought peace in KPK, you should be right in saying that, but as we see, innocent citizens & even PTI members, its minsters been killed by terrorists, then its better to save karachi of both terrorists sympathizing parties?

PTI is a new large party, not involved in bhatta khori and bori band lash... There is large difference between MQM and PTI.... Even in Karachi, PTI is not involved in target killing while MQM has very bad history, with full of violence, murders, target killings and bhatta khori...... PTI is a peaceful party.... unlike MQM where even their leader Altaf can't come in Pakistan because he has to face murder charges/cases and other serious crimes.
