there are no politicians in Pakistan.
Only opportunists who have found a way milking the people using loopholes in the constitution.

Let's be fair. The military is as much of a criminal in ignoring the Constitution as the politicians. Heck, all the bureaucracy right down to the doodhwala breaks the law at just about every opportunity. That is Pakistan.

What the doodhwala does is just as intentional as what the military does.

Au contraire, I am fair in my criticisms in that I do not let my preferences get in the way of evaluating the evidence.

IK and PTI are as much of a pawn now as when NS was being created by the military in General's Zia's time. If and when he is brought to power, it will be the same illegal meddling in politics by the military, and things will remain the same for Pakistan, just another chapter will be written.

Nothing selective about that.

I appreciate your optimism. It does not bother me at all. Reality will make itself known to all, no matter what. I can accept that without a problem.

I do not matter. What actually happens in Pakistan does.

The economy, the demographics, and the utter lack of any institutions (except one, which works only for itself) or the rule of law speak far louder than anything I can say.

That is realism.

The solution may or may not exist, but of one thing I am quite sure: There are no shortcuts to it.

Building up state institutions and the rule of law will take decades, as will handling all the demographic and economic issues. What is not clear whether that time window exists anymore, given decades wasted already.
