ISLAMABAD- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants to tackle the challenge arising from PTI's Azadi March in Islamabad on August 14 politically.

Sources said the government ministers will try to convince the PTI leadership to confine their march to F-9 Park, Jinnah Sports Complex or somewhere near Faizabad in the federal capital. Moreover, the Prime Minister has been given a report by the intelligence agencies that the long march of Imran Khan's PTI may create some law and order situation in the wake of the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

The sources also added that the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and other important PML-N leaders advised the PM not to keep Imran Khan under house arrest.

Till the last minute, every effort would be made to convince the PTI Chief to shift his march to a place where the government could easily provide security. Chaudhry Nisar also pointed out that the PML-N ministers should be barred from giving harsh statements against the PTI, in order to maintain a calm atmosphere.

Meanwhile, a third party is holding secret talks with the PTI on behalf of the government. A senior PPP leader is playing this role and a deal is expected to be finalized very soon.

The parade isn't going to last for hours so i really don't think it's going to effect PTI Long march.
Most likely it will start at 8 and finish around 10

Government should allow them to do whatso ever. I am sure IK will make sure no miltant enter that jalsa. He will personally make sure noone has weapons. Since police will try to stayaway from the party otherwise, IK wilk himself hang them.

Infact government should postpone the national prade, dharna is important than some small national day or prade

pmln death soon... inshAllah... and a new dawn of freedom will emerge !

PPP succeeded in deceiving Dr. Qadri's dharna by signing on a non-binding electoral reforms agenda. Let's see what PML-N does with the PTI's azadi march towards electoral reforms. interesting!

hahah.. looks like zardari got a job a to do.. :P.. IK please give a last push to the falling wall of this rigged regime of a mafia ...

PML(N) should let Ptains continue their street dance and natunki the way they let it happen before as long as they remain peaceful..

What i don't get is they are talking about resolving election issue via parliament and IK gave statement today that they will not topple government undemocratically then what will be the purpose of long march/rallies? Just creating awareness which they have doing since last one year in every jalsa

Whenever there was internal strife, Romans arranged Olympics to subvert people's attention. But, that could not stop the inevitable downfall of tyrants.

Same is now happening with NAWAZ SHARIF OLYMPICS (2 week schedule yet to be announced) totally discounting the plight of IDPs from North Waziristan.

The end will not be any different from the ancient Roman olympics, they failed to keep the head of tyrants on their shoulders; these ones will fail to keep the head of Nawaz Sharif on his shoulders.
