PTI and Governor Cheema made mistake by not surrounding and protecting the Governor House before Nikka Sharif swearing in. Now they should immediately surround and protect Governor house otherwise game will slip from PMIK. March to Islamabad is already late. You hit when iron is hot.

The fiasco over the past few weeks has made one thing really evident, our constitution has a million loopholes and definitely needs to be revampled wholesale.

Or perhaps the articles are deliberately left vague so that anyone can use them as they please?

In this specific case, the President is bound by the advice of the PM when appointing a 'new' governor, but the existing governor works at the pleasure of the President.

This, on face value, means that the President can only remove the governor.

I am not a lawyer though, and would be interesting to get an unbiased legal opinion here.

Not really...president can block governor apointment to protect minority provinces

This is like saying senate cant block legislation of assembly on first attempt

There is no loop holes

There is simply no implentation of law because it doesnt fit PDM agenda

1- instead of removing a speaker through no confudence move who dismissed the resolution on grounds of being conspiracy that needs to be investigated they used courts for judical martial law
2- instead of disqualifying PTI memebers who voted for PMLN(which should have happened already!!) we are having discussion why president can refuse a summary..

According to Article 48 of the Constitution, implementation of the advice of the Prime Minister is binding on president, he can return once but not for the second time. But if the dentist thinks that he is a worker instead of a president and wants to give a toothless answer, then he has to deal with article 6.

Shahbaz sharif is not even a PM legally because Imran Khan dissolved assembly on 3rd April, 2022.

At the moment, Pakistan can only be ruled by interim government.

Elections should take place now

It's beyond shameful that consitution is taken as a joke by PDM. The system now is no longer trusted by the people of Pakistan.

African republics have more rule of law than Pakistan.
