It is now early March 2015. Spring has arrived. Pro Russian rebels launch major offensive in three directions with 20,000 troops trained and equipped over the winter with the aim of capturing Slavyansk and Kramatorsk in the west, Mariupol in the south, Severodonetsk and Lisichansk in the east. Ukrainian troops are taken by surprise, suffer heavy losses, and retreat to the edge of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Having lost almost all of their armored vehicles, the last Ukrainian regiments make their last stand. UNSC makes emergency meeting, only to be blocked by Russia and China. Will America get involved unilaterally in a war the scope of which Europe has not seen since WW2? Will rebels stop at the oblast borders? Or will rebels push on to Kiev? Europe's future hangs in the balance. There is a storm coming.
