PPP decides to form grand opposition alliance after Panama verdict

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party has decided to form a grand opposition alliance after the Panama verdict.

Sources said that PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari chairing a party meeting on Wednesday said that we don’t have high expectations from the Panama verdict.

The sources said that PPP had decided to form a grand opposition alliance after the Panama verdict. Zardari said that the PPP would not take solo flight but take all the opposition parties into confidence after the Panama decision.

The former president said that a befitting response would also be given to the decision.

During the meeting, it was decided to launch a mass contact drive in the country while a formal approval was also given to start protests against loadshedding.

JHANG: Former President and PPP President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday expressed his party’s strong resolve to conquer Punjab, a stronghold of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Addressing a public gathering in Jhang, Asif Zardari said that PPP was defeated in the last general elections through ROs (Returning Officers).

“We will wipe out the politics of Sharifs from Punjab,” he claimed.

“The way we ousted former dictator Pervez Musharraf from power, we will do the same with Nawaz Sharif,” he said.

He said that all four provinces want to get rid of Sharifs.

“This is my first public meeting Punjab and this is just the beginning,” added Zardari.

How a disgraced bloody crook can be a crusader against corruption? If any thing, this idiot will rip off our nation yet once more if he gets another chance (with extremely low possibility though). Zardari is moaning and lamenting just because he wants to blackmail NS as he has been doing for last four years (because the most foolish and biggest idiot of our political history IK has been offering that opportunity to Zardari by ruthlessly protesting against the government).
This is the time when next elections are fast approaching. PML(N) needs to be politically active in Sindh that is presumed to be stronghold of the PPP). NS didn't do that so far because his dependence on Zardari's support. Like IK, Zardari knows that if NS is not disqualified one way or the other, it'll be impossible for them to form the provincial governments that they now have. So, both these crooks seem to be united. But in fact they are not. Zardari doesn't want a clear victory for IM either. He doesn't want to replace PML(N) with PTI as the party in power in center. That's why he's been candidly supporting NW (and getting benefits from government) for last four years. It's a mischievous game that this poor nation has unfortunately fallen into.
I don't care for any of these parties. I care for my country and nation. I want the current up-swing in our national economy continued, CPEC progress uninterrupted, and terrorists being eliminated. NS is doing all that to my satisfaction. Hence I support him.
