Israel simply sold its old equipment and seems to have replaced with New American hardware.

Israel recieved 2000 TOW anti Tank missiles from United states during 1973 war and Hawks in the 60's.

• November 24, 1985 – 18 Hawk anti-aircraft missiles
• February 17, 1986 – 500 TOWs

I don't think any rebels want to be torn a few new aMiddle East has any chance of beating Israel militarily. Lool rael is the strongest military in the Middle East, attacking them would be suicide. Anyone with half a brain knows that. Israel can only be beaten currently through a shoot out with another organized army, and no Arab armies surrounding Israel are strong enough or willing to attack, let alone rebel groups who don't have anti-air weapons, air support, etc.
Why don't you ask why Assad didn't attack Israel at all, and his father didn't attack them since 1982, even though they were perfectly capable of doing so?

True talk bro. Most Arab /Muslim members here seem to be disillusional enough in thinking any country in the middle east stands any chance against Israel. Lol if no standard army in the region stands a chance against Israel, then how on earth do people think a small insignificant terrorist group like Isis,al nusra and other so called FSA rebel terror groups can even beat Israel?? I think most Arab and Middle Eastern countries are realistic /pragmatic enough to know that Israel has by far the most powerful army in the region, no country can defeat them to be honest(the six days war proved it again) . So why bother fight a war you know you can't win, other than humiliate yourself?

If terror groups like isis, al nusra et al ever dared Israel, that will be the end of their ORGANIZATION as we know it, they themselves know it. Truth be told Israel is simply too advanced for any country in the Middle East, Arabs /Muslim /Middle Eastern countries (especially mullahs in Iran) , so some countries might not like it but it's the simple truth. so the best thing to do is to fight against each other, at least that way they stand a chance of showing how powerful they are.

Kudos to small Israel for being so advanced /powerful , the fact that Israel is among top (the largest drone exporter ahead of even mighty U. S) arms exporters (it exports even to big countries like India, many other Asian countries and even to the U. S) while Arab /Middle Eastern countries can't even produce any of their own weapons should be a cause of concern(self reflection) for Middle Eastern countries.
