Israel is the strongest military in the Middle East, attacking them would be suicide. Anyone with half a brain knows that. Israel can only be beaten currently through a shoot out with another organized army, and no Arab armies surrounding Israel are strong enough or willing to attack, let alone rebel groups who don't have anti-air weapons, air support, etc.
Why don't you ask why Assad didn't attack Israel at all, and his father didn't attack them since 1982, even though they were perfectly capable of doing so?
