Ukraine's chance of regaining territory from Russia and insurgents?

Again, many parallels here. Insurgents in Syria and Iraq are mainly Sunni Arab volunteers from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan. Insurgents in Ukraine are mainly Russian volunteers from Russia. In both cases, insurgents are backed, funded, armed, trained by superpowers the US and Russia respectively.

What I don't understand is Iraq army has been fully kitted out by US. Why are they struggling to contain ISIS? The same can be said for Syria.

What are these armies lacking?

The majority conscripts are low in morale. The Shia militias are ideological and fighty. Likewise in Ukraine the majority conscripts are low in morale, only the Right Sector are ideological and fighty.

What do you mean low on morale? LOL they are driving in high end US military hardware with many other toys. The question remains.

Only Sadr's Shia militias are the most religious, the most fearcome in combat. Likewise in Syria, the majority Sunni Arab Baath consripts are bad at fighting, only the National Defense Force is ideological and fearsome in combat.
