I don't understand why the US ground forces are having such a difficult time. The talibs can put on their turban while being taliban, and take it off and throw their weapons, when they don't want to be. The issue has to be identifying the targets. Americans need better intel like the Pakistanis have.

How many are educated enough to take part in polls? How many from eastern Afghanistan take part in polls? Most of Afghanistan is the same as our tribal areas backwards and poor with mostly uneducated people. I doubt the authencity of these polls.

You have wrong imaginations of both Pashtuns and Non-Pashtuns.

I saw many Afghan prostitutes in Islamabad during my last visit in Pakistan. They hang out at f-10 markaz and wear long black skirts and speak in Dari/Farsi that most Pakistanis can not even understand.

If the uneducated peoples are moving away from the Taliban, then Afghanistan is surely in the right track, since they constitute the majority. And if the peoples are educated, then are smart enough to move away from those illiterate retards.

I have lived in F 10 2 area for some months with my cousins I never seen such a thing but I will not reject what you said there might be some out of millions of poor families if some of them turns to be prostitute that can't get any focus.

well, lets just say that they likely used 'demographics' in their favour

however the article also mentions that majority of Afghans are for reconciliation.....before the indian arm chair analysts start pointing fingers and getting wordy, they should first check their facts. Pakistan has been seeking (begging) Afghans to reconcile and work towards national unity since the 1980s and especially after the soviets withdrew!

you only need a pea-sized brain to understand that it is entirely in Pakistan's interest to see that there is law & order and peace in the war-torn neighbour country.....ideally for us, Pashtun and non-Pashtun population would live side by side like true citizens of a country.

i am sure you also dont know about i 10 sector..i have seen it daily..they rented houses and flats and did buisness and no theyvwere not poor..they only wanted to cash their beauty ..poor afghans work in subzi mundi or even prefer to do shoes polish than selling their honour and dignity..i like pashtund for this but non pashtuns are worse...i hate all those afgani who live in pak and bad mouth pakistan

I don't know why Pakistanis hate, hate speech against Taliban? doesn't it sound like a hurt father after seeing his son in difficulties? Lol@ those who believes 80% of Afghanistan is controlled by Taliban! I mean com'on it's been 4 years they are controlling 80% why aren't they go for the rest of 20%? Taliban control is as low as 10-15% all over Afghanistan but being citizens of Afghanistan their presence is all over Afghanistan not only 80% but 100%!!

Taliban after killing thousands innocents have lost people's support, they lost territories which they controlled during 2006-2009, they are now very week to fight ANA/ANP/NATO forces face to face, they are now using their only chance of survival which is a propaganda war and trying to control people's mind with their propaganda. During past 20 days (including Eid days) I have visited family and friends in east and south east Afghanistan situation was very calm I saw many check posts of ANP and ANA. May the haters and enemies of Afghanistan die and burn in hell, Ameen.

Brother, i don't support the Taliban scum for they are the enemy of our two nations. They enslaved their own countrymen to this foreign ideology which they imported from Arab countries. I believe that if Afghans have any honor left in them then they should stop disputing amongst themselves and unite against this common enemy. Don't provide the opportunity to other nations to fuel the wars in your country, Afghans should rise under National Socialism and only then will they be able to tackle major problems like poverty, illiteracy, and those foreign funded terrorists.
