Policeman, Civilian Shot Dead By Terrorists In Kulgam In Jammu And Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Terrorists today shot dead a policeman and a civilian in Kulgam district in south Kashmir, police said.

The terrorists opened fire on policeman Manzoor Ahmed at Chanser in Kulgam at 8.30 pm, a police official said.

He said Manzoor and civilian Farooq Ahmed, who was also hit in the firing, died on the spot, while two other civilians sustained injuries.

The injured persons have been referred to a Srinagar hospital, they said.
