A man and little girl seen flying an Isil flag outside Parliament on Saturday were allowed to continue by police who insisted they were 'within the law'.

The pair were seen by uniformed waving the outlawed group's distinctive black and white banner as they walked past a Scout group, just days before the 7/7 terrorist attacks will be remembered.

yeah, whats the problem, people are allowed to peacefully make their voice heard. Freedom of speech.

Hijab, prayers....

So much for freedom of speech.

Anyway, i have always respected UK MUCH more then the French :) A much more tolerant society, perhaps it have something to do with HUGE number of Pakistanis and Indians living there. ISIS however is a terrorist organization and one important thing to fight them is to bring down the hype surrounding them.

nothing to do with Indian or pakistani... all these countries (UK, France, USA etc) used to be freeer.. earlier... then 9/11 happened and the space for freedom is shrinking rapidly. The pressure from right wingers is relatively less in UK, hence freedom still it exists in some form. It can be withdrawn in future, who knows.

if anyone does that in India ? will your government allow it as freedom of speech?
every country decide to what extent they grant freedom of speech, India is probably more restrictive, france slightly less, and uk even less restrictive.
where is pakistan ...? ahead of India?

hmmm may be you are right,
However for now, UK do allows comparatively more unbiased freedom to all communities. Unlike most of other EU nations how think drawing Muhammad is freedom of speech and expression but Hijab is a probable infection that will infect there society :hitwall: Either be tolerant and moderate of simply not claim to be.

i would say we are on quite similar level, both India and Pakistan. Specially now,
As for the French, you seriously think they are any better that India or China? or Pakistan? Even heard of Hindu being stopped from going to temple in Pakistan or Muslims being stopped to pray in India. AND, we do all this not chanting or TRYING to portray ourselves as the most civilized societies.

IMO, again and again it shows that all this talk about being "oppressed" is just bullshit. The more freedom they have, more they will exploit it for their own nonsense. Better to crush them down.

When Europe allows Prophet's cartoons and call it freedom of speech...they should also allow ISIS flags. They cannot be selective in applying freedom of speech.

exactly my point... if you allow cartoons, or speech against islam, then you should allow their side of story too. They are not violent, so whats the problem.

I dont like this bs public disorder order argument, its your duty to protect my freedom of speech. Arrest those who break the law, not people who peacefully want to make their point(no matter how crazy that might be)

in 50 years little britain would be called little-isis.

Someone should throw that bastard in jail, these kinds of people leech of the freedoms of another country. Yet, their own beliefs are so contradictory in comparison.
