ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has learnt through a recent report compiled by intelligence agencies that his party would lose more than 100 seats in Punjab in the next general elections.

Sources told Daily Times that the secret agencies issued an alarming report in which it is revealed that improvement of the systems of policing, education and heath in Punjab are the demand of the public and they don't need the construction of new roads, orange line train and metro bus service.

In the wake of the report, Nawaz has issued special funds to PML-N lawmakers in consultation with his brother Shahbaz Sharif and other close aides so that they could initiate development projects in their constituencies without wasting time.

It was also decided in the meetings of PML-N top leadership that the PM and the Punjab CM would frequently visit different areas, adding that they would also seek reports from their party lawmakers about the developmental work in their areas.

Nawaz has started acting upon his plan as he is visiting different cities and announcing the mega developmental projects.

On the other hand, the Finance Ministry has prepared a feasibility report regarding enhancing the discretionary funds of the PM.

Sources said the report was in fact a message for Nawaz to put his house in order.

The report stated that the PML-N would lose approximately 100 seats in the upcoming elections as the party's lawmakers are fed up with the nepotism of the Sharifs.

The PML-N legislators realised the fact that developmental work in the country, especially in Punjab, was not carried out in such a way that the people were expecting from the government. They also told the PM and CM during several meetings that the orange line train and metro bus service were not the palliative for the wound of the people but they want better healthcare facilities, good education for their children and cheap and instant justice.

After going through the report, Nawaz has assigned the task to a secret agency to inform him that which developmental projects are needed in which districts.

Whatever they do they shouldn't concentrate all efforts around Lahore and premises and so far that's exactly what they have been doing. Ever since General Musharaff left, Islamabad and Rawalpindi have seen no mega projects except for Metro, and Islamabad's signature feature:Greenery is on a sharp decline. Landscaping is unheard of and there have been no new parks and recreational spots in past few years. Whereas Lahore is getting most of the foreign investment and many new services. Mark my words if these Ganjoo's stay in power long enough they will make Lahore the capital.

Baring some major disaster, I don't see PML-N losing this many seats in the next general elections. I agree with @Salman Zahidi that because of CPEC they will make good on their promise to resolve the power crisis and may get even more seats than they have now.

Intel agencies only gather public prospective and information but does not arrange to change any seating in favour or against any party/member. However, any party after loss can use these type of revelations to blame agencies for face saving activity and get away with it.

Stupid Journalism......although i am against GANGA Brothers, but they don't know the ground reality..

Intelligence Agencies? You mean to Say IB & Special Branch right? MI won't even disclose this report to PM, nor ISI!
That means IB is on the right track... ;)

I wish they lose major chunk of elected seats. They are doing nothing for youth especially jobs.
Last year, only 3 /4 students of Pertoum engineering department, UET Lahore got jobs and remaining whole batch was left to either pursue further education or do low income jobs.

Secondly, I dont understand PM Youth Program.
Loans to selected people and what could someone do with Rs. 2 million/- other than opening a small departmental store. So the whole investment and the hardwork of students to get an engineering degree from a reputed university got vain.
:F PML-N

Sir! This is likely civilian agencies' reports from special branch and IB. There is no doubt that majority of lawmakers are unhappy with them as they didn't give a damn about them after getting simple majority.

Somedays ago I met with our local MPA. He was an independent in 2008's tenure but was supporting PMLN. Till 2013, they had almost direct access to CM. In this tenure, they were left stranded. A little swing in the air caused by indication of GHQ, and majority of electables will jump from PMLN's ship.

ye agencyaan kab say election ka data akhata karna shuru hogaye hain hahahhahah :D wesay intezaar karain kal eek aur idara PMLN ke super duper hakomat kay favor may eek so called survey paesh karayga is news kay baad :D IRI paid survey jesa jo unke apni website pe bhi nahe hay :D:lol:
