According to Ikran Sagel , a known defence analyst, that is the only form of govt where PM has power to punish and control the top ranking military officers and provide more power to top leaders. If that's the reason PMLn and Javed Hashmi time after drag army in politics ...

PM to have power to punish and control the top ranking military officers? Seriously, you must be kidding! Where Pakistan is concerned, that's never ever going to happen. The Pak military with its adjunct, the ISI, is too powerful for the civilian dispensation to take head on.

And that is the tragedy of Pakistan since its inception. The generals have never allowed real democracy to take root. Pakistan's security and foreign policy especially in relation to India and Afghanistan has always been the prerogative of the Pak Army and the reason why Pakistan is where it is today. Using terrorists as 'strategic assets' and a tool in foreign policy is turning out to be a disaster.

Gilani leading PPP and now Nawaz leading Pakistan , do they have any vision . Or biggest dilemma is education and politics is control by money and power , not by education.
For example when parties corner such refined politicians, then what to expect from them...

Turkish model my ***....first get a respected civilian alternative which doesn't rely on rigging and crony family politics...lets not even get started on the tales of corruption

Turkish model became a reality after AKP raised Turkish per capita income by a factor of 285% in 10 years.

I bid good luck to the Khoon League.
