PM Modi halts speech during AZAAN in Delhi

. . . . . . .
We’re way too accommodating, India is a secular country and should not stop for any azaan or namaz.

Good job stopping for the azaan. I just called the cops to stop a freaking marriage procession outside my office. I first requested them to stop - one old uncle asked me, "Tumhare yahan shaadi nahin hoti kya?". Once the cops came - I had a letter from the local police station cced to the Pollution Control Board that they would take action for noise. So I took old uncle and a bunch of others to the police station for violating norms and public nuisance. Uncle told me "Complaint kyon karte ho?" - I told him - "Uncle ab magistrate ko poonchna - unke yahan shaadhi hoti hai ka nahin".

As a secular nation, in fact azaan on loudspeakers should be done away with. It's complete audio overload, especially in the middle of cities.

And Modi stopped probably because like all politicians he couldn't stand the competition to the sounds he was making.
This is not the first time it is happening... The year before, he had stopped while speaking at a rally in West Bengal dutdur for Azaan "I do not want to interrupt anyone's prayers. So I decided to take a brief rest," he said as he resumed his address.
