PM Imran 'optimistic' govt may not need IMF bailout

Look, we are close to bankrupt, and if we don’t take loan then we can’t continue civilian projects. We need 30 Billion dollars to run government .

Hahahah

Bankruptcy is a great option as our bureaucrat pigs will not change behaviour. They will continue to put salaried and middle class in front of IMF death squad. Bankruptcy will ensure downsizing, import bans [not possible by this Pak govt. garbage], austerity and other measures.
they are taking loan to pay the import bill, bond maturation and debt. All Chinese-built Civilian projects have made financial close this year and the repayments are still post 2020.

All these US dalaals in our media and on this forum only try to divert and not tell that whom Pakistan owes majority of debt.

The debt owed to China is near 9%, majority of Pakistan's debt[60%+] is owed to Paris Club and multilateral institutions connected to them. Paris Club is made up of US, Canada, Russia, Brazil, Scandinavian countries, Western Europe, UK, South Korea, Japan, Australia and Israel.

A PAkistani car manufacturer paid for Chinese car parts in Yuan as back as May of this year. Another JVs also paying in Yuan since State Bank introduced the trading.

Any source for this? Note that in the case of some CPEC projects payments aren't routed through Pakistan at all. Instead they are made directly in China in renminbi. That doesn't really count as Pakistan using renminbi for trade.

very few pakistani civilians have governed for 5 years. why should Mr Imran get 5 years ?
Because Pakistan is a democracy and the people have given him a mandate for 5 years.

I'm confused why your made that statement, do you not know how democracy works?
