PM asks Governor Sindh to end frequent strikes in Karachi

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has given a call for shutter down strike across Sindh on Sunday against the provincial budget.

The decision was made during an emergency meeting of the MQM's Rabita Committee, Pakistan and London, here on Saturday.

The Rabita Committee termed the Sindh budget 2015-16 as ‘biased’, saying the Pakistan People’s Party's (PPP) provincial government presented anti-urban Sindh budget which shows prejudiced thinking of the ruling party.

The Coordination Committee further said, “MQM will raise voice against anti-people budget at every platform.”

MQM’s Rabitta Committee has also appealed traders, industrialists and transporters to support the strike call by shutting their business tomorrow.

Interior Minister condemns strike call

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has condemned MQM’s strike call, saying that assemblies are the best platform to resolve issues of the masses.

Talking to the media in Taxila, Nisar Ali Khan said obstacles would be placed on the way of wrongdoers in order to ensure rule of law.

Here problem lies with ethnicity and their corrupted, drugged blood not with system. even best of the best economies will fall even people like sindhus will become part of them. corruption is so much mixed with their DNA that only this race annihilation will change it otherwise they are here to loot and destroy others. I respect those states which have destroyed sindh every time they pose threat in the region.

Today whatever worst happening to Karachi, Sindhus and their hostility towards us is responsible for that. so i just can't stay quiet anymore, Its time to speak what is reality and show them what they are.

Agree with you there...feudalism has turned into an integral part of their culture and the once ignorant are now sometimes willfully ignorant. However the quite a few of them are the most loyal, generous and open people I believe...because remember it were these folks who accommodated the Urdu-Speaking people when people in Punjab were holding signs of "Pakistan is that way" on the train-stations.

The politics of the urdu-speaking community has also played a major part in the contemporary schism between the two communities.

In the end I am of the opinion that given proper education and honorable conduct on both sides will lead to an excellent community.

Did anybody tries to remove these feudalism, Landlord from mainstream Politics??

Name any Political party which don't have any feudal lord, Landlord or community head??

Huh, when urdu speaking had migrated to Pakistan at then sindhus have no control over Karachi and they were simply not interested in it. not just that just in few years sindhus have started political activities against muhajir and as years passed they increased the killing rates here in Karachi and looted our wealth and rights. The reality is I'm not even muhajir. and My grand father was in British army , later Pakistan's army and settled in Karachi long before creation of Pakistan. poor fella, Its a beginning of Nightmare, Muhajirs are still educated , loyal and civilized then sindhis. A separate province is imminent in Sindh.

They adopt Muhajir term to represent their community as their is history lies their then, they were always not given any quota or equal opportunities in whole sindh , while sindhis are represented as they are some VIPs. anyway, Its not just muhajirs demanding separate province. Their are many others ethnic sectors, but political parties are avoiding as they feared of political backlash. but how long they will ignore. its started burning now.
