Sabir Shakir says that BJP/Modi had plan B, at which the work has already
started in India. He thinks that BJP/Modi were not expecting the response all around the world. He also thinks that the information India got from the closed door UNSC session is that their actions in Kashmir were not appreciated.

Do you think India would retreat from its unilateral actions in Kashmir and reverse its changes in the Constitution of India via decision of Supreme Court of India!!

Don't think so. Not only have the buffalos but the RSS cows too have gone for a dip

Dont you think the way it all happened. Considering even Opposition parties in India are with Govt. Its IMPOSSIBLE.
There is NO Plan B.

Lie. Its was 100% in Line with India's Line.

1. This was the Response : " Go Bilateral Route"

Indian Supreme Court is ALREADY favoring Modi. They have refused the matter and have given time to the Govt. to restore normal situation.

For now, the Supreme Court has turned down requests for an urgent hearing of the petitions challenging the modifications to Article 370, but more such petitions are likely to be filed. The government, if insiders are to be believed, is confident of holding its own in the legal battle. "Legal opinions were taken and the process is in order. It will certainly stand legal scrutiny," says Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for the PMO. The government's confidence gets the backing of Kashyap: "Insofar as it followed a political higher policy decision in the interests of the nation's security, unity and integrity and fighting terrorism, anti-national forces, lack of development and massive corruption, it seems extremely unlikely that the judiciary will intervene to annul it."

. . .
Don't forget that India already has large number of troops in Kashmir before scrapping Article 370. There was hardly any different response from Kashmiris earlier. So, India gains nothing by backing off. Kashmiris are unreasonable and hence nothing that India does will change te situation. So, backing off from Article 370 makes no sense

Theory 1... Theory 2... Theory 3... Theory 4... INFINITY...

Whatever, assuage the neighbor... the truth is that action is already taken...

As per my discussion with someone important... China was already informed about the intention... it was AMIT SHAH's comment in Indian Parliament which has rattled CHINA... "Kashmir is an integral part of India, there is no doubt over it. When I talk about Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Aksai Chin are included in it"... This Aksai Chin... was the real bomb... and due to this S Jaishankar and team was unable to pacify them in Delhi and rushed to China to meet higher ups...

can anyone give one example... where Narendra Modi BACKED OFF from his DECISION...

Modi has backed off when initially Rohingya were hit by Myanmar, Modi went to Myanmar for talks. But he immediately changed his gesture and started giving civilian goods worth $25 million in aid to Bangladesh.

Modi has also backed off from Ram Mandir when in November 2018, BJP started to make rallies. Then there was some deal struck with opposition according to which Modi backed off and started to take refuge in Supreme Court.

Citizenship bill was another situation where Modi backed out.

This is the problem with India and Kashmr. Quoting you.
"Kashmiris are unreasonable and hence nothing that India does will change te situation."

Forget Pakistan, as long as India doesnt engage and willing to assimilate Kashmiri's it has no right on their land.

No. Modi shouldn't and likely wouldn't back down. That world be political suicide.
But I feel that uncontrolled migration towards Kashmir shouldn't be allowed. Only the elites should be allowed, so that the local culture is not negatively impacted. Hill folk tend to have a nuanced culture.
