Here's the LUH PT-1 structure that was uncoupled from the coupling jig at HAL facilities recently.

meh..develop a microlight on your own first, then call a composite airframe 'cheap' & 'flimsy'

You know what, you're actually right. Build quality is not just an issue confined to HAL but noticeably an issue with almost all Indian products. Most probably, perhaps, because India is engaged in a fruitless exercise of attempting to reinvent the wheel but without access to adequate facilities and, most of all, conventional technology.

Allow me to revisit my post, and broaden its scope, one last time.

LOLLL, how about a moped before that? And are we forgetting the "Sitara" the pride of the paksitani automotive industry? :what:
Now, the structurals are getting done. HAL Helicopter Divn. seems to be getting geared up towards the future.

OT- Avidly waiting for 1st flight!!!

What a feat of engineering!
No wonder that LalTopi is putting a paksatani on the moon any time now.

On the contrary, the papers are brimming with headlines that the Indian PM has not spared a single country in the West, begging them to invest and manufacture their products in India so that its stone age industry may benefit from the advancements which have been made in its absence. Wise move, if I may say so.

That's how real countries operate. PMs beg borrow steal to increase the economy, not sit on a high horse with false pride.

lol..who is begging ? We are urging foreign investors to invest more in India. One of such industries in which FDI is encouraged is the automobile industry-now would you call Indian Automobile Industry-sixth largest in the world, primitive ?

lol, there is a country on our west, that cannot develop a moped engine on its own-its better to call their industry primitive.
