Comparing indian domestic flights with PIA international flight. Budget flights are thus budget, spice Jet charges about 2500 rupees one way from Delhi to Bombay. You can't expect world class amenities for such a price.

But good on PIA. Spending tax payers money to provide amenities to international travellers. Air India is even worse, they don't even provide such service but spends just as much if not more than PIA.

It isn't propaganda, PIA went through a huge crisis in the recent years and now it's finally reviving and things are going well, that was the point.

I can understand PIA doing better and Pakistanis feeling proud about it. But OP went on to put here selective videos that diss our budget airlines. But at the same time forgetting this video. Hence my comment on propaganda.

It is very difficult to make money in Aviation industry. Domestic airlines are always cost cutting and providing almost nothing to passengers.

It's hard to call Jet Airways, which in its time was a large network carrier with multiple international destinations, a budget airline.
Mind you, they went bankrupt due to competition from IndiGo and Spice Jet.

PIA was once the baap of all Indian Airlines, we helped Emirates Airlines get to where it is now. And the standard will get better and better, don't worry about it.

My favourite experience on a PIA flight was in economy class en route to Islamabad from UK. It so happened that 14th August chimed in as we were in Pakistani airspace and most folks were snoozing. However, someone pulled a harmonica out and his travelling buddies broke into a splendid rendition of zinda quom hain. Folks woke up, clapped and cheered and sang along. If I remember right, national anthem and yeh watan followed straight after.

Comparing nearly bank Corrupt country with a Super Power country of 5 Trillion Dollar economy????is this your super power standard.

Pakistan can feel better with little success/achievement because of above mentioned reasons....
