What's new

Photographs of Tejas sp-1

So we will probably induct Rafale from 2016 onwards along with Gripen A/B(LCA-FOC standard) and Gripen NG(LCA Mk2) from 2020.

ending of 30 year journey congratulation :enjoy::enjoy::enjoy::enjoy::enjoy::enjoy:

Yes, those 30 years were a tremendous learning curve for us, not only we have made a credible fighter jet, but we have made the entire infrastructure required for making many more credible fighter jets in future with more advanced features, backed by the wealth of knowledge & expertise that we have gained during the entire journey. :)

Don't use the word China man, you are not qualified to use it yet until you surpass China.

Yes that is superior and available. Iran should go for J-10s or Russian aircrafts.
It's J10B my friend, the best we have in our service until now. I don't think China goverment will sell it until J20 enters into service.

India should simply scrap its LAC programme。

It is a complete waste of time and money, both of which India can't afford in the current fast-changing world。

China Man dont live in Illusion.

a) Congress Govts were submissive to China not any more.
b) Our Private Sector has come in Defence production, just wait for 2 years.
c) Tejas will never be exported to Iran.
d) Iran is a Country where we have issue based deals and support.

Like to Thank All Iranian`s specially his Excellency Allyatulla for supporting India in 1980s when Pakistan was at its Peak on Kashmir Propaganda.

Unfortunately Gazwa E Hind still sits in Holy Book and Chiese soldiers come with Guns pointed down on BOPs and are repulsed.

your welcome my friend :) well i wana say that its not the matter of buying some fighter from our great friends like india or china, because we already started to design and build fighters and the final results will be shown in less than couple of years. so tnx for ur suggestion your kind suggestion :)

unfortunatly yes, india have some issues for exporting fighter or other military hardware to iran cause of political concerns but i dont think if china have this problem. cause they have less concern of US. am i right friends?

The trouble is that relations with any country in that region is a tightrope walk. It is true that China has more homegrown content in their fighters, and so will not face as much pressure as India in exporting them. But in their own self interest, they will have to make sure they don't annoy too many players in the middle east. China has a lot at stake in the Arab world, for example - and they wouldn't want to displease too many Arab countries. Unfortunately, everybody there seems to hate everybody else. Selling to Syria would anger Saudis, and so on.

As far as we Indians are concerned, we do not care for all the conflicts and enemities in those places - we try our best to be friends with everybody, and so far we have succeeded in that. Arabs, Iranians, Israelis are all our friends. We prefer to stay out of the conflicts there.

Can B'desh can make something like this in the next 300 years?

Yes. All they need to do is buy the engine/design/electronics from someplace. Then just join it up.

I am sure it'll take a lot less than 30 years though.

Then you don't know how BVRAAM tests are conducted and AFAIK,

By integrating the missile to the fighter in the first place and make flight and basic launch tests, which have nothing to do with the radar initially (see Astra tests on MKI or METEOR tests on Rafale or EF). So the issue of the radar / nose is not the reason why BVR missiles were not integrated yet.
