Philippine military seeks probe against Indian commander

Fijian demonstrated courage by following order to surrender. While Filipino showing cowardice because they don't want follow order to surrendered, so they endangered Fijian lives, who are only now endangered because of the surrender order they received....... Circular logic?

kid, the general's order was "not to shoot", he never order to surrender....

That is not true. The General was negotiating a withdrawal from the posts and handing over the territory to the rebels. Since the filiipino post was running short of ammo, the order was to raise the white flag if attacked, effect a ceasefire and then negotiate withdrawal.

It was also designed to tone down the rhetoric's, establish calm and ensure release of the 40 Fijian soldiers.

well if the inquiry finds the general responsible....then he should be punished

Gen. Surrender-First-Beg-Later Singha ordered our PHL troops to lay down their arms...he already admitted that in his interview. He wants us to surrender our weapons to the terrorist. Why would he want to give more hostages to this terrorist group??? He's an IDIOT.

"Speaking over the phone from Golan Heights, Singha said that disregarding his orders of putting down arms, the Filipino troops had endangered the lives of 44 Fijian peacekeepers who have been besieged by the rebels and are in the conflict area. "The non-professional actions of the Filipino troops have endangered the lives of the Fijian soldiers. They have defied orders at a time when we had negotiated a ceasefire with the rebels to ensure that all troops in the conflict area could exit," Singha said."

7 hours of firefight, facing hundreds of armed militants, no reinforcement, ammo running low, withdraw with no loss of firearms, 3 terrorist killed, all PHL troops safe...and your'e calling our troops cowards and unprofessional.

Fiji troops followed Gen Singha's order to surrender...they lost all their firearms and now they are hostages and bargaining chips of a terrorist organization. And you want the PHL troops to suffer the same fate.:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

Our PHL troops are right when they did not follow that moronic order of Gen Singha.

errr.... The Fijian troops are free. Without the loss of ANY lives.

BTW even an animal will fight back when attacked. That is not courage. Its self defence.

Courage is when you save someone else's life instead of your own.

It's good to hear that the Fijian troops all are safe and free. BTW, where is your source??? There's stll no news about the freed Fijians troops in CNN.

Why don't you read the comments left by people on online news about our heroic Filipino soldiers who defied your stupid general. They have only praises for our soldiers and nasty remarks on your incompetent Gen Singha. Like this one:
