This data doesn’t talk about any specific agency. Major ones are OECD and USAID. Their data also says a similar thing. Per capita they have received 14 times and it is higher in absolute terms too.

Moreover, India has stopped taking any dole. It takes only loans now. Wouldn’t say anything for our western neighbours because posters like @Muji.Iqbal will pull out numbers from their behinds and claim completely opposite.

I guess, they way UK media was crying.. Some AID still coming but at very low number.

They cry because they are dumb, and their reactions are kneejerk without proper research. UK govt itself calls the aid as investment and debt, not doles.

UK media didn’t have the full information. It is very common for media people to not research a subject before jumping the gun.

Thereafter, Indian govt made it clear that India doesn’t take any aid from UK. There is no doubt about that.

The problem is that many nations give money to NGOs for various programs. Some of these NGOs run their own agenda and at times a highly motivated one. Many Western nations were sending money to NGOs for Christian missionary related work. Some idiots get those figures and start making tall claims.

Knows only to point finger at others for their incompetency to implement proper taxation, economic reforms, and a powerful government to lead.
