Ads will not help that much but education will. People need education. You cannot expect people to follow family planning in principle if you keep them illiterate and ignorant. They have to realise that they can focus better on a smaller family, provide them better education, health and a better over all living standard.

Population growth is an asset if properly educated, trained and taxed. There is a reason westrem countries encouraging their people to have more babies and pay for their medical and allowances. while they are using NGO's to cut population growth in other countries.

If any one is thinking that by increasing production of Condemns and it's sale one can address the issue of over population then He is living in fool's paradise......

In our society, condemn is a thing used more for sexual relations out side marriage and this makes it so unpopular in common thinking.

We need real steps to reduce population rate. Steps which are out of scope of current social & political system. Like giving relaxation in education, health, job & business to those couples who have two children.
Increase of tax on education, health or service of 3rd child by 10%. 4th Child by 20% and so on.
And then strictly following this law. We will need social societies and religious scholars on our side a in order to deal with back lash.

Right now our sources are enough to support 400 Million population considering the fact that our major cities in Central-North Punjab & South Sindh are mostly populated while very low population lives in Baluchistan, FATA, KPK & GB.
If we divide the population in a balanced way by facilitating construction of more cities with appropriate facilities at far distances from each other then this will greatly reduce population burden from major cities.

Plus, we need to properly use our own sources. We have enough water, fossil fuels and minerals to full fill our needs but it's extraction and delivery mechanism is biased & faulty. If we manage to address this issue then we will be able to properly utilize our population in our favor with a bonus point of reduction in population increment rate.....

Consider the fact that a person with 30k income can raise two kids, provide them good education, feed them well, give them good tarbiyat and make them useful for the society. Now if the same person breeds like a rabbit, then, in his meager income, he will only produce trouble not only for himself but for the society as well. There are no jobs, health facilities, education for the people already present and you want to increase the number of people who will want to benifit from those facilities?

you are taking it wrong

Europeans are worried about population because their population is decreasing not increasing that is why they are trying to maintain or at least have a little population growth. Check population pyramid of European countries and every country population will decrease substantially till 2050.

On the other hand Pakistan has a population growth rate of 1.5% and our GDP growth rate is between 3-4%. Our inflation rate is near to 5% so in reality our per capita income isn't increasing a lot, this situation is very bad and if such trends continue Pakistan will face a disastrous situation in the future.

We have about 6 million unemployed people in Pakistan and assume how it will look like when we will have 20 million unemployed people?

Pakistan total area is less than 8,00,000 sq kms and our population should be less than 200 million so that every person can live a good life. Over population has many bad effects, you know dhaka the capital of bangladesh has a density of about 24,000 people per sq km and I don't know how people manage to live there.

All of this is due to poor planning, people are coming to few cities for jobs. Population is not the problem. Whole balochistan is empty. vast plains of punjab, sindh and KPK. Reducing population is not the solution, adding cities, infrastructure and proper planing is the key. Govt, suppose to teach them, train them so that they can work and pay tax. Nothing will change if you reduce population, poor will remain poor. corrupt will remain corrupt.The only difference would be, instead of two poor and two corrupt, there will one one of each.

Pakistan must create multiple new towns even if the population remains steady.

Why not encourage the best of society to have more children by incentives? At least this way the population growth will be beneficial?

Dude planning is done by keeping in view current situation of every country not thinking that if we had done this before we wouldn't be facing this today.

You admitted that we were not able to manage our population so its necessary today to reduce population growth and manage the previous and coming population in order to make life better in Pakistan.

You know Pakistan is releasing about 200 million metric tons CO2 every year which is making Pakistan hotter every day and winter is reducing by 1 day every year in Pakistan. Assume 300 million people means 300 million metric tons CO2 every year. Assume (khuda na khasta) heatstroke in all major cities in Pakistan? Assume worst traffic in every city.

Population growth is one of the top problems of Pakistan specially unplanned pregnancies.
