You think threats were coming from ISI? Does this traitor HM have proof? I am sure he has, so why he did not go to the court with those proofs? Why is he not pursuing his case now? It is very easy to say that I received threats from xyz but one needs to prove otherwise such claims are mere allegations.

the issue is not of GEO or ARY. The issue is about autonomous regulatory body. Why is PMLN government (and so was PPP) so scared to appoint full time professionals as heads of these regulatory bodies? Why is every other regulatory body working only under 'acting chairman'? its a horrible state of affairs that this country is regulated by bodies headed by political stooges.

Pemra suspended the Licence as per Instructions forwarded by honorable high court of Lahore. In the case in which Mr. Asim Malik sitting in Mubashir luqman programme, and name the judges and their families.

Mr. Asim Malik is suspect in 179 FIR's of Frude and financial corruption case, estimated amount of Rs:2 Billion. Mr. Asim Malik's passport is also suspneded by FIA.

so ARY officials should file the appeal in supreme court.

Update: Sindh High Court Suspends PEMRA Notification to ban ARY News

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday suspended the 15-day ban on ARY News transmissions and ordered restoration of the transmissions of the news channel, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) had suspended the licence of ARY News in an order on Monday.

Justice Faisal Arab of Sindh High Court heard the petition filed by the management of ARY News.

The petitioner pleaded to the court that the ban has been unlawful and a violation of the rules. The regulatory authority imposed ban without hearing the point of view of the ARY News.

The bench also ordered PEMRA to notify cable operators for restoration of the transmissions of ARY News across the country
