Excuse the occasional bad word and you will find the comedy bang-on about Indian "patriots" ( Pakistanis as well ), especially at 4:33 mins :

The uncle character can be based on any venomous hyper-nationalist who comes on TV talk shows, like say on Aaj Tak channel.

I watched it , It was very hilarious :D

I am just not in the mood to look at this, not just now. Asma Jahangir dies; even a constable in the armed police of Pakistan gets more regrets from the green bhakts on PDF. This larger-than-life figure who graced the entire sub-continent inspires only a vicious stream of hateful comments. The response was incredible and reveals the scars that Internet and social media have carved in us.

Immediately after that, it was my bad luck to read the filthy comments on Rajdeep Sardesai's announcement that he was going to sue for damages; the party is a habitual baiter of what a section of our citizenry, some of whom are represented in your list of tagged members, call libtards. It's difficult to take that people's personal prejudices, their regressive minds, can create such hatred for those who want human progress, not just material progress but mental and intellectual progress as well.

When I read the remarks about Asma Jahangir, I felt very sorry for Pakistan. When I read the remarks about Sardesai, I felt very sorry for myself. It's my country that is being dragged through the mud, after all; it's far more dreadful to see than anything else, happening to anyone else.

Maybe some other time; thanks for tagging me.

Lol
I at times do not understand the sense of humour of some.
Many like KUNAL expect ppl to laugh at all the garbage that he throws at his audience.
He should be glad that hes in a country which is truly democratic and not as the title of his video suggested “democratic till you criticise it”.
This guy has his “freedom of expression” intact and thats the reason he could use a public domain and express his angst.

These are ppl who take their rights for granted and forget their duties. To them nationalism is a joke, it reminds me of the famous “Dilli door hai” quote by the Hazrat Nizamuddin.
Yes if we dont rise and unite now then soon Indians would be left with no self pride. Division will be imminent.
So if those fiery speeches by our leaders help India remain united, then I support it.
These clowns to whom nationalism is a joke should be sent to countries where such videos against govt are banned.
Like they say “once you have been in dark, you learn to appreciate everything that shines”.

Nationalism is not a joke.
But we currently do not have a nationalist govt.

Though I haven't watched this video because I find almost all stand ups unfunny.

1. What is your definition of nationalism??

2. What do you think the present government is??

Honest questions.

Try the British ones. The Brits are the best at comedy, whether stand-up or serials or films.

Michael McIntyre can be a good introduction to British comedy.

I will reply tomorrow. Sleepy now.

In the Indian context, nationalism will have "unity through diversity and economic strength" as its core belief.
A nationalistic Indian govt will give due powers to states and make sure all citizens are familiar with all major languages through proper representation in national events and matters of national importance, including defence.

The current govt is about the same as all other govts except for their religious fanaticism which is being kept in check by the bureaucracy. There's no unity or nationalism in the picture. Zero.

I agree.
I'm a fan of British comedy. It connects well with me and makes me feel comfy.
