These bridges are integral parts of China's controlled-access expressway network,
now more than 131,000km, adding 10,000km per year.

From wiki
The expressway network of China is an integrated system of national and provincial-level expressways in China. By the end of 2016, the total length of China's expressway network reached 131,000 kilometers, the world's largest expressway system by length, having surpassed the overall length of the American Interstate Highway System in 2011.[1] A system of national-level expressways, officially known as the National Trunk Highway System (simplified Chinese: 中国国家高速公路网; traditional Chinese: 中國國家高速公路網; pinyin: Zhōngguó Guójiā Gāosù Gōnglùwǎng) and abbreviated NTHS,[2] with 7 radial expressways (from the capital Beijing), 11 north-south expressways and 18 east-west expressways, forms the backbone of the expressway network in the country. This backbone is known as the 71118 network (simplified Chinese: 71118网; traditional Chinese: 71118網; pinyin: 71118 wǎng).[3] In addition, the provincial-level divisions of China each have their own expressway systems.

To exit from national expressway to a provincial ones, are there toll booths?

National expressways and provincial expressways are within one integral system.
No need to exit the system!

One example:

This video is about driving from Chengde City to G1 Expressway
First on provincial expressway of S52.(the video shows the entire 196km length)
At the last 1-2 minute, you can see the connection from S52 to G1.
S52 is part of Hebei Province funded province-level expressway network.
G1 is national expressway radiating from Beijing all the way to Harbin

First one minute shows the interchange from S52 to G1.
Then entirely on G1 from Qinhuangdao City to Huludao City

A closer look at
how province-level expressways interchange with national-level expressways

S stands for province
G stands for national

National expressways are in most cases more important than province-level ones.
As you can observe from the videos, G1 is much busier than S52.
S52 is mainly designed for people from Chengde City to access G1.
Another 10 ramps to connect towns

1209km Beijing-Harbin expressway will start upgrading project to at 8-10 lanes late 2017, some sections 12 lanes or more.
When the project finishes, on one direction lorries and cars will drive on separate lanes.

Credit to LifanDefense, file is said to be dated 2017-07-10 but the map may quite possibly be the older one

Thank you @GS Zhou and @AndrewJin for the cool info. I combine the info from two of you for a good share in the socmed :-) cool links of bridges and background info plus wallpaper quality screen snapshot images of the Yachi River Bridge 鸭池河大桥 located at the S82 Provincial Expressway, Qianxi County, Guizhou Province, Western China, as the intro :enjoy: Terrific!

How old is this expressway map.....
Until now, I can't find one single map showing all the expressways in China.
They all only show China's national-level ones....
My province alone has 5000+km!
On this map, only around 2000-2500km

Sorry AndrewJin, I have no answer on how old the map is indeed, just found it at internet resource said file date is 20170710... but not necessarily the map is that new :D

Btw, on my recent visit to Inner Mongolia - Shanxi this summer I saw some store at the gas station or toilet stop sold some comprehensive road map of China for automotive driving use, thick and wide in form of a large-size book, and there are a couple of publishers... must be quite useful for those citizens like to drive long way to new areas.

The other thing some friend told me that the expressway tariff in China ain't cheap for the govt indeed prioritizes the expressway for commercial/industry uses, so the toll road fee is not cheap, perhaps to discourage the private cars from flooding the toll roads. What do you think about the expressway tariff?

you are welcome my friend, very happy that you think the information helpful.
BTW, mind to tell us what is socmed? thanks in advance.

No toll, no road. It is a fair game.

the expanding expressway network is crucial to the boom of the Chinese car market. Otherwise it is hard to imagine the car market in China could grow from less than 1 million units a year to over 23 million units a year in less than two decades.

It's unlikely our new expressways can be added in 2010s manner.
But the sales of new cars is unstoppable, and increasing at even higher speed.
Now, many key expressways are being upgraded, or a parallel expressway is being built....

See the thin lines around G4(Beijing-Zhuhai)
G4W2, G4E, are all duplicated expressways of G4.....
G4 is horrible around my hometown....
I always avoid driving on that hellish expressway.....
Lorries, coaches, one after one.....
But thanks to G4, even in winter, we can have fresh veggie from Southern China.

Socmed = Social media (distributed at smartphone it means using app like wechat whatsapp etc)

Of course such toll road is not cheap to build... it costs a fortune to build all the quality roads. In my place, those toll roads that come later do costs higher to users, due to cost escalations incl the land costs. The long-time built ones are cheaper. Does this kind of time difference affect the road pricing in China?

Can you give some idea about the road pricing of the oldest and newest expressways... price for passenger car at how much for how many kilometer trip?

in average it is 0.5 RMB per km. But if you drive through some special/long/complicated tunnels or bridges, the price will be higher. For example, the 36km-long Hangzhou Bay Bridge (杭州湾跨海大桥), the toll is 80 RMB, i.e. 2.2 RMB per km.

this is a nice picture. Because it shows the building of the high speed rail bridge not stops the normal operation of the expressway.

Thank you @GS Zhou for the pricing info & more bridge links, now I have some idea about the toll road pricing in China. And I think it's still quite affordable. And about the special structures (tunnels, bridges etc) that cost more, they are also quite understandable! And think some users are more than happy to pay that little prices to enjoy the spectacular rides such as riding on the Hangzhou Bay Bridge :-) me included...

just take it as the small entrance fee for a spectacular sightseeing ride... just open the windows, feel the breezes

If I were living around that bay area, it would have been part of my regular pleasure driving exercise, esp. at the night time, could be once every week or fortnight, at least once a month, just to have the sensation, open the car windows, light the cigarette, on the music and feel the breeze... just a low cost escape...
