Ceasefire deal to be signed in Cairo | Maan News Agency

CAIRO (Ma'an) -- Palestinian sources in Cairo told Ma'an that a ceasefire agreement is being prepared after 15 days of Egypt-sponsored negotiations.

The Israeli delegation has left Cairo to inform the cabinet before it convenes at 9 p.m. to discuss the agreement.

The sources said Egyptian legal consultants were preparing the documents.

Egypt is expected to announce the developments after 11 p.m., they said.

...........................

Latest news is the Palestinian delegation has agreed to latest Egyptian proposal. Israeli Cabinet has yet to comment on this. 2,000 plus Palestinians murdered because Netanyahu and Arab regimes wanted to destroy Gaza. Shame on you sick people, you will pay in the future.

“Right now, we are waiting for the Israeli cabinet to announce that it approves the agreement,” he says.

Truce will occur if Israel responds. The ball is in Israel's court.

Beware of any Israeli attempts to ruin an agreement. They might try several things to cause a clash:

1. Launch incursions into eastern Gaza and claim they were fired upon then start bombing Gaza and blame Palestinians for derailing agreement

2. Wait hours after deadline until any clash occurs

3. Simply will reject cease fire(doubtful)

4. Will announce a unilateral cease fire with no truce agreement and retain military right to attack Gaza

5. Because Palestinians want an agreement, Israel may interpret this as weakness from the Palestinian Resistance and launch a massive invasion of Gaza.

.............

This is the first proposal in which any side actually agreed upon conditions. And that side was the Palestinian one.

..................

Btw, Israel arrested dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank over the past couple days. They made an outrageous claim that Hamas was planning to overthrow PA.

PA, Hamas all denied such a thing. It is another desperate attempt by Israel to cause divisions amongst the unity government. But, it has failed once again and as the unity government has agreed to cease fire proposal.

Of course I was right, what a clever way to reject the long term agreement. Just claim no such thing happened. Will Western media report this?

Well Hamas did reject one before. So dont expect them to agree to it until they reach their aims. Which i believe they havent and couldn't and wont be able to aswell. Hamas has been more than a tough adversary for them.

8 points of proposal which reports say both sides agreed to. Although now Israel is denying doing so. Anyways...:

1. Opening of all 7 border crossings including Egyptian travel crossing in Rafah
2. Complete reconstruction of Gaza under unity government
3. Electricity crisis in Gaza will be completely solved by one year
4. Fishing radius to be extended to 12 miles by 6 months
5. Removal of land siege completely(Maybe no limitations ongoods?)
6. Return to 2012 agreements of military action
7. Negotations of seaport to take place after one month
8. Negotations of prisoner releases(Palestinains in West Bank/Multiple Israeli soldiers in Gaza dead&alive) to take place

............
If these 8 points are true then I'm surprised by Egypt. Looks like Egypt took a 180 degree turn. Partially because the Palestinian Resistance fought strongly and forced the region into assuring a long term truce.

Hamas didn't reject any deal. It rejected a call for a unilateral Israeli cease fire early on which had no negotiations. Hamas agreed to this long term truce. The initial reports that they rejected it was false.

Israel refused to respond to the proposal and asked for another 24hour extension. The extension has been agreed upon according to Palestinian officials/Al Jazeera.

Israel can't take casualties, after the fontomatic aura of her armed forces that were built on Arabs backs who didn't how to fight. Hizbollah built her coffin in 2006 and Gazans nailed it shut...Palestinian steadfast, without the Arabs interference, paid off...Gaza paid a big price, neverless it paid off...Hope that they will never compromise with the West bank, or have anything to do with the Abu mazen bunch, and the other lowlife *** kissing PLO lapdogs...

The Egyptians shows their limitations....Hoped they showed some balls...

Gaza Blog - Live Blogs - Al Jazeera English

Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting government officials over efforts for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, as a temporary truce between the two sides neared its deadline.

The gathering of the Israeli prime minister's advisers was planned to take place on Monday, hours before a five-day ceasefire with Hamas, the governing body of the Palestinian territory Gaza, comes to end at midnight (9pm GMT).

I agree, I want to see Abu Mazen retire. And have him and part of his coalition replaced with other members of the PLO whom he refused. Those members won't tolerate occupation the way he does.

Why do you think Egypt changed their stance? If Egypt keeps this up I see them as regaining their influence not only in the I/P conflict but also in the Arab world.

@S00R3NA

Post a source for that and do it in a different thread. Delete your post please.
