Palestinian drives car into Israeli soldiers

Moron. Using a refugee camp as a source and Hamas TV. Anyway what is wrong with dying for your country and people? You got a problem with that? They are at war, their country is occupied and thousands of Palestinians have died in recent years. Most civilians.
Is that why Pakistan is on fire? Maybe it is because there are too few people that are willing to sacrifice their lives for a greater struggle. Nice trolling and logic ah? Seems familiar. Or what about the tribal areas of Pakistan? Are they not blowing themselves up on a weekly basis?

You forgot about your origin here but I will leave it with that and no need to post any videos.

It's their form of resistance as there is hardly any other. Give them fighter jets, tanks, submarines etc. and we can talk. Suicide bombings is not an Muslim invention nor has it anything to do with Islam. Ask the Japanese or Tamils, communist Kurds etc.

Are you waiting for some Jewish approval?

These are terrorists who enforce a brutal occupation on Palestinian land. It is 100% legally and morally justified to target colonialist terrorists. Israeli's are the only remaining colonialists on the planet. Good riddance to the terrorists.

There is nothing to discuss here. It it's an act of resistance in response to many things that occurred over the past two weeks which saw Palestinians killed and hundreds kidnapped. Israel's occupation is illegal and has to end.

silly people, on both sides... there is solution but they refuse to take it... want to continue fighting instead of evolving.

Suspect in hit-and-run that left 3 soldiers injured turns himself in | Maan News Agency

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian man suspected of having run over three Israeli soldiers on Wednesday evening turned himself in to "security forces," the Israeli military said in a statement on Thursday.

Earlier, Israeli forces had carried out raids across the southern West Bank to find the man, who had been identified as Hammam Masalma.

Four of Masalma's relatives were detained from the southern West Bank town of Beit Awwa early Thursday, after Israeli forces raided the area and found no sign of Hammam.

Palestinian security sources said Israeli troops erected several military checkpoints around Beit Awwa west of Hebron before ransacking the home of Hammam Masalma, who they believed deliberately attacked the soldiers.

Masalma, however, was not at home at the time of the raid. As a result, Israeli troops decided to detain his relatives Muhammad Jamal Shalash Masalma, Subhi Shalash Masalma, Issa Khalil Masalma, and Ismail Subhi Masalma instead.

The Israeli soldiers also ransacked and inspected homes of Jamil Badawi Masalma and Abdul-Qadir Ismail Masalma.

Israeli police sources say that they managed to identify the truck driver from the vehicle's registration data.

Separately, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Muhammad Thiab Abu Salih, 34, from Dura just west of Hebron. He was detained near the village of Tuqu east of Bethlehem. Security sources say he has Turkish nationality.

Israeli forces also stormed the city of Yatta south of Hebron and ransacked several homes for inspection.

The hit-and-run incident on the main Bethlehem-Hebron road on Wednesday night was the third such vehicular attack on Israeli soldiers and civilians in recent weeks, although the previous two took place in Jerusalem.

Palestinians, however, have decried the "double standards" around the incidents, noting that Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank regularly run over locals -- including many children -- but are never accused of terrorism as a result.

Good Job PA, you let these filthy Nazi terrorists harrass/terrorize/humiliate the whole neighborhood over a simple accident. Which if was intentional is 110% justified. If Hamas and Islamic Jihad were there the filthy Nazi terrorists would be entering their graveyards.

I am happy my mind is not enslaved by radical Islamic mindset as most members here on PDF, including you!

Yawn... If Israelis are colonists, how come more violence and wars against them only lead to even more loss of Palestinian land, resources and infrastructure? Before Second Intifada, Palestinians had their own independent airport in Gaza and were about to be granted statehood in Camp David Accords but that terrorist Arafat ran away from negotiations, started intifada, and lost everything that was built by years of international aid, including that costly airport:
Yasser Arafat International Airport - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Then you say Israeli colonists are responsible for the mess Palestinians are in? Zionist ideology is simple: Don't attack them, and you will be left in peace. Attack them and all you get is misery and destruction. Jordan and Egypt never attacked Israel since signing of peace treaties and in turn they were never touched by Israeli colonists either! Yet Israel is the problem and not Arab terrorism?

There is nothing to discuss here. It it's an act of resistance in response to many things that occurred over the past two weeks which saw Palestinians killed and hundreds kidnapped. Israel's occupation is illegal and has to end.
You guys keep trying your so-called popular resistance over and over again, killing, injuring random Israelis every other day which leads to NO change whatsoever in Israeli policy towards Palestine. Why not try something else?

Anyway what is wrong with dying for your country and people?
What is wrong with LIVING for your country for once? That's the main difference between Jews and Muslims. Jews live for Israel. Muslims die for Palestine. That's why Jews always win and Muslims always lose. No battle or war was ever won with deaths. It was always won by hearts of those who survived the war. Just look at post-WW2 Europe.

What if your country is occupied, your people killed, the killers not brought to justice and you endure suffering and are restricted on almost all fronts, your land was stolen by foreigners etc.? What's then?

Why are you assuming that I am for a military solution? I am for a political solution but as you and anyone else can see then Israel continues to built new illegal settlements in the West Bank and thus making what is left of Palestine even smaller. Thousands of Palestinian civilians are killed and you are crying because some of them are retaliating in their own way. Talk about being biased.

I strongly suggest that you change your tone and delete that Arab part of your message to @Hazzy997

Which ethnic group do you belong to?

Palestine is not occupied by Israel. Between 1948 - 1967 this territory was under Jordanian and Egyptian rule. They had 19 free years to form an independent Palestinian Arab state alongside Israel. What stopped them but bigotry? Only after Israel expelled Jordanian and Egyptian forces from here that the remaining Arabs started demanding "Palestine" from Israeli "occupation". Hallo? What were you guys doing between 1948 - 1967?

There is no political solution with your Arab leaders double-talk. When they meet Western press, they say they are for political solution, when they go back to their Arab media, they say the only way forward is military resistance. LOL :D

Punjab, Pakistan.

You live in Norway which was once occupied by Nazi Germany during WW2. Most of the Norwegians or at least many resisted and thought for their fatherland and died for it. For a goal.

German occupation of Norway - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

At its basic the struggle of the Palestinians (from their perspective) is not any different. They are the weaker part who are fighting (with the humble means that they have) against a much stronger enemy for basic rights of a human being in the year 2014.

Punjab, Pakistan.

That's because the Palestinians themselves at that point did not recognize an Israeli state which was created on the lands of the Palestinians. Can you blame them? Also it's much more complicated than that. If the Israelis really wanted a two-state solution back then it would have probably happened. Now since they had the upper hand there was no reason for them to agree to such a thing just like they obviously do not agree with a two-state solution today.

Anyway why talk about something that happened 64-46 years ago? What about now? Today. Why is Israel continuing to built illegal settlements in the West Bank and all the other crimes that they are guilty of according to the international community, Amnesty International the UN etc. despite having a very big clout in world politics?

No, they don't. Besides when they do that it is because people are desperate. Also Arab here means Palestinian. People want changes and a separate state after 67 years. Israel has that but the Palestinians do not. That's obviously a great injustice and when at the same time thousands of civilians are killed you get desperate.

Also similar to Israeli leaders saying to the West and the world (including the Arab world) that they are all for a two-state solution meanwhile this happens as explained by this beautiful Arab lady.

Noticed.

Although I do agree that Jewish only settlements mean institutionalized apartheid, I cannot say for sure if Arab buyers are prohibited from living in those settlements by law. Arab citizens of Israel (20 % of total population) can buy land and live anywhere they want if they have the means to do it.

Here's the video in case it hasn't been posted before.

The soldiers sure were run over good but word is that they only got moderate injuries.:what:

One was a terrorist, the other a policeman
They were the same age, spoke the same language. But the Palestinian who killed the Israeli were worlds apart

The two men at the center of the deadly Wednesday terrorist attack in Jerusalem were similar in some ways – but worlds apart.

Both died in Jerusalem.

Ibrahim al-Akkari was a Palestinian terrorist who deliberately ran over and killed Jaddan Assad, an Israeli police commander, and wounded more than 10 others. Al-Akkari was shot dead by police when he got out of his car and started attacking other cars with an iron bar.

They were the same age, 38. Both were fathers – Assad of a three-year-old boy with a wife five-months pregnant, and al-Akkari of five children.

Both were Arabic speakers, both had strong family ties and both had links to Islam – al-Akkari was a devout Muslim, Assad a member of the Druze sect, which is an offshoot of Islam. Their families were both proud of them, and both blamed politicians for the violence in Jerusalem.

But the similarities end there.

Wanted to crown himself a martyr

Al-Akkari's 16-year-old son, Hamza, told reporters at the family's home in the Shuafat refugee camp in eastern Jerusalem that he was proud of his father. "I'm not sad that he died a martyr."

One of the boy's uncles, his father's brother Moussa, was a member of the Hamas unit that murdered an Israeli border police officer in 1992. Moussa al-Akkari served almost 20 years in jail before being released in 2011 in return for an Israeli soldier held by Hamas. After his release, he was deported to Turkey.

Hamza said his last conversation with his father "was about school. He told me, 'be very attentive to school'. Today at school, a group of teachers called for me and asked me to go home. They told me that my family wanted me urgently. When I arrived home, I heard about the incident and was very happy. What's happening at al-Aqsa is something that no one can find acceptable," he told the Ynet web site, referring to a severe clash at the mosque site between Israeli police and Palestinians.

The terrorist's wife tied his actions to the events on Wednesday morning at the site: "Starting in the morning, he followed what happened in al-Aqsa and saw the blood, the wounded, the desecration and all that happened. He left home quickly and went to the site of the attack to crown himself among the martyrs and heroes."

Another brother, Dr. Mansour al-Akari, told Ynet: "The events at al-Aqsa Mosque hurt us all. It is not we who are the terrorists, but rather those who harm Muslim holy sites, and who forbid the entrance of worshipers to the mosque. We have no problem with any Jew in the world, but those who intend to harm holy places and step on our honor, must be punished.

"Al-Aqsa Mosque is for Muslims and not for (Israel's right-wing Knesset member) Moshe Feiglin. I am a schoolteacher, my students always ask me what's happening with al-Aqsa mosque, and what answer can I give? Should I tell them that the mosque became the Kotel (Hebrew for the Western wall, Judaism's holiest site)?

"The government of Israel and the Likud give a green light to harm al-Aqsa mosque," he continued. "They are responsible for everything that's going on in Jerusalem. This government is foolish. He who is interested in peace does not harm holy places."

Loved the police and Jerusalem

Border Patrol officer Jaddan Assad was a chief inspector in Israel's border police. He was a resident of Beit Jann, a Druze village in the Galillee, and had returned to his duties in Jerusalem on Wednesday morning after several days' leave.

His father said shortly after being informed of his son’s death: “I urge leaders to reach an agreement in order to avoid the bloodshed and avoid more casualties from all sectors – Jews, Arabs and Druze.”

He further added: “All my sons serve in the security forces; the Border Police was in his blood and soul. He loved the service and he loved Jerusalem.”

Another cousin of Assad, Ihab, said that he had heard about the attack in the afternoon, “but we had no idea it was Jaddan. We received a phone call from another cousin who serves as a border police commander in Jerusalem and he gave us the news. ..Unfortunately, our family has known its share of troubles and we lost four family members only in the past month.”

Under strict limitations imposed by Israeli police, al-Akkari was buried late at night in the presence of only 35 relatives. Jaddan is being buried at noon on Thursday, with full state honors.

Japanese used them against military targets. Tamils started use them later. Although for sake of truth Sunnis started using suicide terror after Tamils.

No, they are their own entity just like the Yemeni, Moroccan, Egyptian, Libyan, Algerian, Iraqi, Syrian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, German, French, Italian etc. Jews are distinct from each other.

That kind of fairytale talk we have heard for years. That Palestinians as a people don't exist but magically there is something called a Jewish people despite Jews arriving from all corners of the world let alone races.

The Palestinians have also used them in that way. I don't care about suicide bombers. It's just a tactic of war and terror disguised under religion (has nothing to do with Islam as there were obviously no suicide bombers present almost 1500 years ago and besides suicide is strictly forbidden in Islam) just like dropping heavy bombs from fighter jets are on civilian areas.

You did not answer my post. Do you consider the Palestinians of Israel to be Israelis? 21% of the population. Also why are you calling a Druze for an Arab and giving that significance? Are you doing the same to 50% of the Jewish Israelis who can trace their ancestry to the Arab nation as you say? Let's say that a Israeli of Moroccan background died tomorrow. Would you call him an Arab?

If it somes to Iraqi and Syria these are also artificial. Arab Sham includes Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine. Divisions between them are purely artificial. And Palestinians are most recent invention among them. Galillee Arabs are MUCH closer to Lebanese Arabs than to Gaza Arabs for example.

During the British Mandate Arab nationalists rejected Palestinian division, called them south Syrians.

Sephardic Jews dont like to call themselves Arab Jews. I personally never met one who calls himself so.

BTW before the 20th century most of the people who today call themselves Arabs did not do that. It was used for direct descendants of Arab peninsula mostly.

It's comical that a Jew is calling people with several thousand year old cultures, native moreover, for artificial. Jews of today and artificial are almost synonymous words.

Bunch of nonsense.

Every single of those "Jews" from Yemen to Morocco (from the Arab world basically) are just Arabs that converted to Judaism at one point and now call themselves Jews. A Yemeni Jew does not look any different from a Yemeni Muslim likewise a Jewish Iraqi does not look any different from a Muslim Iraqi.

It's called the Arabian Peninsula.

Strange that you YET again omitted my questions.
