A cheap rifle could do 5 MOA with the right cartridge---.

5 moa barrel would be scrapped.

Both are 2 different rifles.. The above LSR/bolt action that won against international brands like IA,Remington etc ..

The below is a DMR with a free floating barrel using G series chassis .. Already in circulation.. Scar/ARX etc are assault rifles which have different "sniper support" variants.

LSR is a pat on the back to our engineers and gunsmiths. The DMR is using a hammer forged heavy profile barrel is great but the roller delayed back G3 needs to be in the museum it has served way beyond its expiry date. If we can produce high quality barrel then it means we can apply it else where as well.

Hi,

Realistically----out of the 21 rounds fired----3-4 are fliers---they don't count.

So---looks like close to 0.5 MOA---not bad at all.

Different calibers for different ranges----. This is an excellent range for a .308

Then your next step up is the 300 magnum

the next step up is the .338 lapua

there is a .416 Barret

there is a .460 steyr

there is a .50 barret

But the ideal squad sniper rifle is the .308 for militaries with U S influence

now if you were russian----you would have the russian Drugonov SVU---which is semi automatic in the 7.62x54 caliber bullet with ranges of around 1000--1200 yards.

Ity depends where you want to use it---if it is in the urban area---you would be looking at a sniper rifle with a shorter barrel good for around 400 yards.

So---instead of having a 26" barrel on a .308---you are looking for a like 16" barrel---a much shorter rifle---.

For even shorter distances---you will have the .223 sniper rifle---

Yes, this is what i am asking,
in mountain areas we need 1500 mt to 1800mt range sniper rifles,
So Sir, what's your guess, are we working on long distance sniper rifles or later on ?
every sniper rifles has a silencer or not ?.
