Yes, Pakistan should adopt the shariah Laws :P

Constitution was never an issue but it's implementation is.

Do it, This is what TTP wants.. This is what Imran wants, This is what Red mosque chief wants..

Sharia for Pakistan...

@Fracker if 80% peoples want sharia then why is there so much violence corruption in Pakistan the true statement is that 80% Pakistanis love this lousy law and corrupt system sharia is a tough law it has no place for corruption in it, you peoples will start hating it in first hour and sharia law is not all about covering women and jihad as you peoples think Pakistanis only love to talk about sharia law.

I agree with Ghulam Akbra 100% & this is what I have been writing for long time. Pakistan biggest enemy is this word "In the name of Constitution" which corrupt politicians use so much & they are openly harming Pakistan "in the name of constitution".

How and who can the constitution be redesigned as long as these corporate are in the rule. Some attempts made by Gen PM has already been rolled back. So any amendments made to refine the constitution will always be rolled back by these people. Apparently the only way is a long pure military rule (not a combination), which brings in necessary changes, implement those changes and monitors it for next three to four decades. They have to put in right checks and balances and device methodology to ensure that the constitution is never ever rolled back to so called 1973 constitution. One way is to define in the constitution that a military person will be president of Pakistan for a certain period of time with powers to dissolve the assembly i.e. 58(2)(b) or a national security council. Selection of President can be defined through a procedure similar to the position of Joint Chief where each force get to have its outgoing chief as president for 2 years. NSC should have four chiefs, President, leader of opposition, leader of the house, a senior bureaucrat and defence minister . Thus untrained opportunist do not get a chance to out vote armed forces.

agreed 100%... and since this constitution which was developed by parochial leadership of that time in order to please Mullahs, is there, there is no hope for improvement in Pakistan situation. it will at least two generation to redesign the constitution.. current leadership and their heirs (since in Pakistan politics is hereditary or a Sexually Transmitted Disease) have no spine to repeal the useless clauses of the constitution which don't offer any good but chaos in the country.. The situation is so disappointing, bleak and that people born in even late 80s won't be able to see peace in Pakistan in their lifetime. Irony is that people who are responsible for this chaotic situation are heading a dozen of committees to curb it!

Professor Ibrahim, the nominee of Taliban is also there and nobody dares catching Mullah Burqa right in Islamabad.

First it 84% Pakistanis,
84pc of Pakistani Muslims want Sharia, says PEW survey - thenews.com.pk

Secondly, i do agree it doesnt mean forcing women to wear hijab, or men to have beard, prophet muhammad (SAWW) never did so.

If by you, you mean me. I or my family dont have anyproblem with it, we do try to follow what has been asked. And do want to follow it 100% like 84% of Pakistanis are asking.

But problem is, topic isn't that. Its our question mark on constitution, which aint true either. Pakistani constitution dont allow corruption, Pakistani cnstitution speaks about equality, basic rights for common civilians, and justice.

And like i said problem isnt constitution, but its enforcement.

If 80% want sharia then why isn't it implemented? I agree Sharia is the only solution for Pakistan.

What i know all are waiting for mehdi, who can save them. They are too weak, and love for the world is keeping them away from their own rights,
