Pakistan’s economy to surpass $2 trillion by 2050

.
You keep writing stupidity, it will continue to come from my end as a response.

@Oscar @Irfan Baloch @Horus : gentlemen, watch the posts now, its morning time in India and our friends in India aren't getting calls from their US managers and clients just yet. So its ideal time to drink coffee and derail PDF threads. Please ban the ones who don't follow rules and troll with personals, instead of debating.

So true.... my post was so bad.... it had graphical pictures, curse words, adult material, hate filled.... and what not... :woot::hitwall:

PS: I am more and more convinced you are an early teenager having nothing to do and a newly bought high speed internet...

Good joke. :omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:
You provide a source number, but no source. WTF is with that lol.

Oh fools can never act sane or smart!!! High on fake patriotism and hiding insecurities!!!! Here's the link, enjoy. And if you cared to google, there are MANY links. I've always used Moody's, the CIA or the Bloomberg as the main ones, never wrong!!! They all have their assessments so give them 5-10% standard deviation. As you notice, they are now around the 26th country from the top, the following shows 27th, which is fine too. From here down to 15-13 would result in a 2 trillion economy. You can do your own research and write a thesis if you disagree. Let's publish it. Any personal bullshiit will be resulted in personal attacks from my side and mods will be invited

Now, I usually tell my dog this: "go butcher it"

The World Factbook

GDP (purchasing power parity):
$882.3 billion (2014 est.)
$847.2 billion (2013 est.)
$817 billion (2012 est.)
note: data are in 2014 US dollars
country comparison to the world: 27
GDP (official exchange rate):
$250.1 billion (2014 est.)
GDP - real growth rate:
4.1% (2014 est.)
3.7% (2013 est.)
3.8% (2012 est.)

BTW, Mexico's economy is around 1.4 trillion and Pakistan is way bigger in market share and consumer base from Mexico in many ways. So its not an issue to beat that if they work right. Now if Mexico starts to use NAFTA right, they'll probably get ahead for a few years as the US is an investment goldmine for them like it is for India.

Dont compare Mexico and Pakistan LOL. Mexico actually produces goods relevant to the modern world (cars, electronics etc). Pakistan has double the population but produces next to nothing of significance. Hence why its GDP is a fifth of mexicos although it has twice the number of people.

Dude i was just saying compounding rate method is applied to investment calculations where this rate that u are taking out is the return on ur investment. In this particular case of gdps idont know.

There is no difference between rate of return and GDP growth rate conceptually. Both are compounding methods.

You slyly inserted that the 1.1 trillion USD (which btw I am still not seeing in this CIA source even with adding your "10% standard deviation) is NOMINAL. These figures are PPP. Learn the difference between PPP and nominal GDP.

We are talking about apples and apples....not apples and oranges.

If you want to talk PPP, compare with India's PPP size. The multiplier factor is roughly equivalent for both.

When we are talking about reaching 2 trillion dollar size economy for Pakistan, I hope you mean in nominal terms, because in PPP terms thats just pathetic to do so by 2035 or whatever year it is.

The exchange rate figure clearly shows the nominal figure of 250 billion for 2014.

Case closed.

The claim of nominal GDP being 1.1 trillion in 2015 for Pakistan is ridiculous.

in taxi driving?

I keep about 15 Indian families kitchen's lit and keep folks employed !! They all drive taxi's that run on water like the Vedic times 6000 years ago in India  :yahoo:. You want me to talk about my encounter with Laskshmi too and how I rewrote Kama Sutra for the 21st century with her and changed the old school crap that was in it? Like I said...courtesy and respect are both ways, you extend some, I will too. You go personal, I'll go VERY personal. Don't hate the player, hate the game and don't start.

Focus on the topic and everyone's fine and we can remain factual, which you guys don't have!!!

You want apples to apples comparison and you bring India as a comparison to Pakistan's GDP, whether PPP or Nominal?? :omghaha: :fie: :fie:. Time to go back to your college and retake these courses. I've learned these things years ago from one of the most prestigious schools in the globe!!!

And yet you quote Pakistan's nominal GDP to be 1.1 trillion USD (pretty much out of your *** - even the PPP figure aint that high).

Also you used the great math that 35 years of 5% growth = 35 * 5% = 175% growth completely forgetting basic compounding.

I really don't want to know which prestigious school that was , they seemed to have failed miserably with you to say the least.

Hope you are enjoying the job at chucky cheese.

You guys are ALWAYS in denial and always insecure!!!! Go read my posts (before you piss me off by derailing the thread by adding personal crap). You should have some common sense to measure the other party.

.
2050 would be too late. The economy should surpass before 2035.
Any prediction 35 years out is just bonkers. It's like India saying that every citizen in India will have access to a toilet by 2050... umm, yeah.

I will just say 3 things about you...

1) You are sooo American that you only post in India-Pakistan sections.... you are never to be found in American threads :woot:

2) Every other thread of your has "I am xxx rich... i have xxx Indians as workers..."... its like how every taxi driver says he owns a merc. or every club player says online... I play for the EPL

3) Your English is nothing like American. You are a desi (99.9% Pakistani) who happens to be sooo concerned about India and Indians that you are hiding behind an US flag...

Oh... and Did I mention your Math sucks big time ?:rofl:
