Pakistan's contribution to Burraq/CH-3 Drone

Words like testing are used in underdevelopment programs not operational clear your understanding BTW two thing's.
Yes, you are right. The recon version of the drone is OPERATIONAL. The missile armed version of the drone is NOT OPERATIONAL. Today was just an experiment/test. I hope that answers your query.

.
Don't take me wrong but can we write statements on these drones like there are on trucks like

"Jalny waly ka muh kala" etc. just to add more butt burn of our neighbors :undecided:

Why would we declare to the world if we are not sure of its operational capability?

I thought its done when we are sure that its ready to fly and strike?

No one is doubting its capability. Undergoing tests is a vital stepping stone to actual deployment or IOC.

As for delcaring the tests, the same reason we declared missile tests, or why we had test flights of prototype JF-17.
The drone will be deployed eventually, but we have declared to the world that it performed successfully in the test.

What impact this development has on geo politics? I ask in context of sovereignty and non Pakistani drones flying in troubled areas?

That's hard to say. In context of sovereignty US drones have always flown with permission from Pakistan. If you recall the drone strikes stopped during negotiations with Taliban.
So if we feel that we can undertake drone operations completely on our own, then it's very possible that drone strikes from US may stop.

That I believe has always been the case otherwise it wouldn't have been possible at all. I don't hold authority over air warfare but I can assume this much, that for a drone to fly in an area it would need to request a clear air corridor and then to strike it would rely on Intel on ground.

So if we feel that we can undertake drone operations completely on our own, then it's very possible that drone strikes from US may stop.

The Parachinar area it has an airstrip right? Why do I have a feeling that drones may still be operating from there? I may sound stupid but :undecided:.

India does not have any "Inducted" UCAV. Pakistan has. Does that make you so jealous?
who told you that we don't have any UCAVs? heron uav of IA, IN and IAF have missile firing capability. india's primary enemies are pakistan and china, for pak and china we need uch more advanced UCAVs than those CH-3 type UAV we don't need CH-3 class UCAVs.. thats why india is developing stealth UCAVs. rustom uav is also a UCAV. IA and IAF are interested in recon UAVs than non-stealth UCAVs because of their vulnerable to enemy aircrafts near border areas where these UCAVs need to be deployed. the terrorists from pakistan have pak military's support so using of non-stealth UCAVs against terrorists in border area is not a wise choice. for the operation against terrorists we need stealth UCAV, that is why we are developing AURA UCAV.

we are not pakistanis to be jealous on something we don't consider as cutting edge technology.

. .
Awesome point of view, only an Indian can have.
Pakistan's military enterprise will now make an engine so they can prove it to Indian...how could they resist such an offer.

let me be simple
you cant make basic car engine in pak.. so get CKDs.
you cant make raiwly engine of good quality .. so you get chinese and xyz
and you make claim you made car whihc beats ferrari and engine whihc beats GE
ask any 3rd person same case .. and see his ans
---
if i accept your claim at face vailue as PAK miltiary indutral estbaidment is advance than local pak industry
then why PAk force did not help atleast pak raliwasy to build raliwa egine and blled pak economy with foign exhange
and people suffeirng ?
is that pak force nationlisam
pak force can make hight tech UAVs , missile that too cruise one.. but did not share basic tech that help common man life..
max i can figure out PAK came out with TAB.. wow
---
let china be your buddy like USA in 80-90s ... but this time in fiuture consequece is disateres as chinse are schued businmmean .. nothing else
---
you dont prove anyhgn to anyone ..
you have it .. in air that simple
only thing world see things logiclay which does not match your case .. as exception too are there

whats a big freaking deal with making car engine, why are all desis obsessed with car engine...Canada doesnt make cars either they dont have any car engine of their own.

Pakistan was making railway engines in the 60s, Pakistan had a very advanced space program than Indian in the 60s...we are going in reverse now.

You want me to list all the Indian defense product that are made in Russia...name one Indian product

dont worry about if we have it or not, in thin air of on the ground...its enough to keep a check on you and thats all matters.

This is a drone procured from China (TOT), it took so long because you guys were trying to make internal parts to build it locally. The Robax or something engines and internal development of some sub systems (Avionics) like Pakistan did for its fleet of F-7's, and the locally version of the AR-1 missile. So now, it is all "Made in Pakistan" but technology acquired by China and now the entire thing is produced in Pakistan. A huge leap in Drone manufacturing capability and saving of millions of $$$$. Good work!!

This has setup a competitive drone manufacturing industry in Pakistan, based on today's standards. Now this technology and integration can be further expanded onto different Air and Sea based platforms.
Even some of the US agencies use Pakisani drones around their borders, which are very cost effective and good smaller recon drones.
Pakistan’s Beagle to sniff U.S. borders
by Brian Walters
25 December 2003

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) dubbed ‘Border Eagle,’ together with ground display software, is to be supplied by Integrated Dynamics (ID) to the U.S. Homeland Border Control. Some 20 of these mini surveillance systems are to be delivered before the end of February and an example is featured on the Pakistan-based company’s Dubai 2003 exhibit (Stand No. W102). On-board sensors are to be supplied in the U.S.
ID is making its second appearance at a Dubai show, having previously promoted its UAV expertise in 1997 and winning orders as a result. Although Pakistan is the company’s biggest customer for UAVs and support systems, its expertise in flight control, telecommand and control systems has won recognition in several other countries including France and the UK to which such electronic equipment has been supplied.
While the company’s smaller UAVs are powered by piston engines in the pusher configuration, the Tornado 2000 aerial target and decoy system, also on display, is powered by two 18-pound thrust mini turbojets, which endow a speed range of 70 to 300 knots. To help train UAV operators, ID has developed pilot and mission simulators that offer low cost solutions to training requirements that would otherwise oblige use of real UAVs.

The pilot simulator provides a high level of realism and can support single or multiple instrument failures, while the mission simulator enables the user to analyze the mission before the actual flight, thus reducing risk and increasing system cost effectiveness.
