Barbaric acts displayed by Pakistani soldiers lower its standard as a nation having a professional army. Although. Pakistani Generals refuse to accept their involvement in merciless beheading of two India soldiers Prem Sagar and Naib Subedar Paramjit Singh on May 1, 2017 in the Krishna Ghati sector of LoC, it is quite clear that Pakistan may go to any extent in brutality.
Taking swift action, Indian Army retaliated and destroyed several Pakistani Army outposts on the border. However, Pakistan even refused to accept the attack and claimed that it never violated ceasefire.

However, this is not the first time that Pakistan’s Border Action Team has indulged in such barbarism on Indian soldiers. There have been past incidents too in which BAT has mutilated the bodies of soldiers after killing them treacherously.
There are some facts which you should know about the enemy country’s one of the most elite force.
What is BAT
Border Action Team or popularly known as BAT carries out cross border operations and has the capability to carry out raids across the Line of Control. Core of BAT comprises Pakistan’s Special Services Group (SSG).
BAT’s training
BAT commandos undergo a training of eight months under Pakistan Army and four weeks training under Pakistan’s Air Force.
Members of BAT commandos include both Pakistani soldiers and highly motivated and trained terrorists. They worth in co-ordination with Pakistan’s special service group excel in guerrilla tactics and work along.
Terrorists are inducted in BAT so that Pakistan can disown them when caught across the border.
BAT’s previous barbaric acts’
Recently on May 1, 2017, BAT violated the ceasefire agreement made with India. The team carried out heavy shelling; launched rockets and mortar firing on LoC. BAT attacked an Indian joint patrol team and mutilated its two soldiers in the Krishna Ghati sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
In 2016, BAT mutilated and killed an Indian soldier in the Machil sector near LoC.
In 2013, BAT killed, beheaded and mutilated Lance Naik Hemraj and injured constable Rajinder Singh (BSF).
In 2008, a soldier of 2/8 Gorkha rifles was captured by BAT and was beheaded after a few days.
In 2000, seven Indian soldiers of Ashok Listening Post were killed when Ilyas Kashmiri led a raid in Nowshara sector.
Captain Saurabh Kalia was mutilated and tortured by BAT during Kargil War. His disfigured body was handed over to India after some time.

Pakistani Army claim innocence
Claiming innocence Pakistan’s ISPR backed the Border Action Team and maintained that the force is ‘highly professional’. “Pakistan Army is a highly professional force and shall never disrespect a soldier, even Indian.”, said Pakistan’s ISPR in a press release.
ISPR also denied violation of ceasefire agreement on the May 1 massacre. Pakistani army officials said “Pakistan Army did not commit any ceasefire violation on the Line of Control or a BAT action in the Buttal sector (India’s Krishna Ghati sector) as alleged by India.
Blame of mutilating Indian soldiers’ bodies by Indian government is also false,”
However, Indian Army officials maintained that, Pakistan’s BAT took the benefit of firing from Pak’s side and carried out the merciless act.
