Nice facility, horrible video.
Congrats to Pakistanis for their first electric train route.
A brave decision to go for the 3rd rail as it eliminates the unsightly overhead electric cables.
Watch from the 56 minute mark as the reporter is useless.
I have a few technical queries but will save them for the future.
Enjoy your new train.

27kms only. 10-12 billion $ subsidy from government per year. Yeh kaise “development”?
Although i am up for anything that reduces chingchis on the road.

Can you post Indian version of this news? I'd like to see how India media creatively makes this news very interesting.

Man was boring. Half the time, he wasn't even speaking into the mike. I don't want to hijack this thread by posting India metro openings right now. May in couple of days after this thread is done, I'll post here for your reference.

Just a youtuber's video but his production value is good. This line opened more than a year back.

I mean Indian media report on this Pakistani rail, China also has many reports on opening of Chinese railways, but they have nothing to do with this rail and this news.

Interesting, what are Chinese doing in Lahore, are they permanent residents or just guest workers?

Before her, her mother spoke in English, she said she has been there 4 years, she is working as a teacher.

Due to CPEC investments, there is a large Chinese presence in Pakistan these days. It just depends on where the projects are, and which positions are required to be filled according to the skills required.

From what I see, other than investment, China is introducing its own working practices in Pakistan, that produce quicker results with efficient practices.
Pakistan has a large capable workforce but the work practices defer, but, nowadays one can notice projects getting completed on time or even quicker, that has to be Chinese influence, and their ways of doing things.

Google doesn't give any Indian coverage yet. Maybe by tomorrow.
