They were even less satisfied before the British came. While colonialism cannot be defended but equally we must take objective grip of the reality that almost all structures that underpin Pakistan as a state are of British vintage - army, police, judiciary, PWD, revenue service, irrigation department etc etc.For the 70 years, people have not been satisfied from this crappy judicial system
The competency of Pakistani state has been going down since 1947. That should tell you something. Most of the madness you is manifestation of 'desi' mindset and the rise of mullah politics. It is also interesting that you see the exact same thing at play in India. Only change the names from Mohammed to Mohan.
