Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa (COAS) expresses deep concern on recent surge in violence inside Afghanistan and loss of precious innocent lives. COAS reiterates that there is no support to any terrorist activity inside Afghanistan from Pakistan side. The alleged return of injured / dead terrorists from Ghazni is incorrect. However, there are scores of Pakistanis working in Afghanistan in connection with various businesses/ labour who periodically fall victim to terrorism acts alongside their Afghan brothers inside Afghanistan. Terming such victims as terrorists is unfortunate. Moreover, different factions of TTP, hiding in many sanctuaries inside Afghanistan under Afghan identities on becoming injured/ dead are transported into Pakistan for medical help. Additionally, Afghan refugees and their relatives also resort to similar practices.

COAS stands by his commitment to Afghan President for ensuring all measures which could facilitate peace in Afghanistan. However, COAS re-emphasises that Afghanistan needs to look inward as the problem resides inside Afghanistan. The solution thus remains on making substantive progress on Afghan reconciliation efforts as well as on speedy implementation of Afghanistan Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Stability (APAPPS).

Pakistan continues to support all initiatives aimed at bringing peace in Afghanistan as there cannot be enduring peace in Pakistan and stability in the region if there is no peace in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has been playing an active role in rebuilding of Afghanistan and despite its economic troubles at home, Pakistan has provided Afghanistan half a Billion Dollars of aid in addition to sheltering millions of Afghan refugees. No other country in the world can boast such a generosity towards Afghans.
These Pakistans were playing there role in rebuilding Afghanistan as construction workers, skilled labour and engineers. And this ingrate turd-head snake instead of being thankful to Pakistan and appreciating their role in rebuilding of Afghanistan, has used this to rather malign and distort their image.

Afghanistan has failed in protecting and creating a suitable environment for business and human Development.

The Prime Minister should ask for reparations for the loss.

Afghanistan should do more against terrorism.

106 Pakistanis were killed in Ghazni but it seems that the Pakistani state simply doesn't care!

Afghanistan-Pakistan is an internal Muslim matter. It doesn't boil our blood like it does when there's conflict between India-Pakistan.
