Pakistani Liberals Should be Ashamed at Being on The Same Side as Foreign Fascists

Islam is general quite liberal the only real difference is the dress code and activities around liberalism around relations/marriage

Islam in books is one thing and the real society in indigenous areas of Pakistan are a different thing. Islam doesn't really shape 100% aspects of lives of people at least in my area Gujranwala. When I was growing up in 80s we didn't really discuss islam much beyond halal/haram food, doing undershave, purity bath rituals , offering prayers and fasts, that is all the Islam people used to have. The current craze of religiosity is pretty new and mostly restricted to intellectual classes. One thing I have noticed is that younger generations are less abusive and dirty minded than previous generations in our area, they are also definitely more religious than earlier generations.
Growing up I never saw any concept of "liberal equality" practiced around me at all, so I don't believe that an average pakistani is "liberal" champion of human rights and equality, these are pretty foreign concepts at least in my area in pakistan.

I don't believe these pakistani liberals form a majority or even a big minority but their online presence certainly worries me. Many of these people have no shame and openly support even things like lgbt, only today I saw a bunch of them having trouble with Pakistani judges potentially keeping a Qur'an on their desk.

They just have a disproportionately high presence on social media networks particularly on twitter (not so much on facebook), I don't think people with such deviant mentality even make 2 or 3% of Pakistan's total population, they are by far outliers just disproportionately very active on twitter.

I agree they're a low number. But still, I don't know man, for people to even feel comfortable expressing such thoughts or opinions in a Muslim society without any shame, that's pretty worrying. These people don't come into prominence all at once, they slowly come out of their holes and corrupt more and more of society with their words.

They control media and have very strong presence in bureaucracy.
